Oh my god. ok mandala is a pattern based heart normally based on a circle but Madhubani is a folk art that is mainly from Bihar and its having all the motives all the trees flowers and beautiful beautiful colours kachni Bharni. Madhubani is huge huge

Sir what is the difference between madhubani and mandala art?

Both quite different mandala is just the pattern and Madhubani is human figures flowers animals and designed by various patterns

First of all it's Mithila painting not Madhubani painting . Some information-) Mithila/Madhubani painting is the folk art from Mithila ( Bihar , Jharkhand and Nepal ) which actually originated in Ram - Sita Biyah ( Ramayan era ) . Earlier women used to do this painting just on wall but now a days people do use this art form on Clothes , bags and other things . It's free hand drawing so , we can't use pencil for rough draw . Instead of brushes we should use fingers and match Stick so that it looks more beautiful .

@@IndianMOmLifeHacks Actually these paintings were unknown to the world till Bihar femine/ Nepal earthquake and later on got discovered in Madhubani by foreigners and that's the reason they named it as Madhubani painting however we Maithils still call it Mithila painting over Madhubani painting.
