You are so lucky to have a parent and a grandmother who knows about this stuff. For the life of me I wish I had that. I’ve been practicing successfully for almost 3 years now but I had to learn everything on my own. It’s difficult sometimes and kinda lonely. One great way I see this is that I’ll be starting a line of of aware witches. I can’t wait to have children for this purpose. It sucks to see my moms natal chart and she has sooo many psychic placements and has psychic experiences all day long but doesn’t know what’s going on. It’s sad. I would love a video on how to connect deeper with ancestors. I feel they are so happy i am doing this kind of work since it has been repressed for so many generations. I unfortunetly do not have family i can ask about these things. Both my parents-parents, passed away. I don’t think having different journals are bad. It actually helps me think better if I compartmentalize everything. I have a binder just for divination, a journal just for witchcraft, a journal just for hoodoo.if I put it all into one it will confuse me. So sonetimes spacing things isn’t bad. All depends on how one studies. We figure out what works for us as we go along

I'm loving the research part of being a "baby" witch (hint all the notebooks I have) because, in most things, the beginning is so exciting that you willingly surrender yourself to receive all the "gifts" you THINK you can handle. And its okay if you have a little "overflow" because you will find a way to clean up the mess. For example, you have a drink that spills, what do you do next? Stay in the mess, clean it up yourself, or try to convince someone else to clean it?. Last I want to thank you, Jessica, your brave heart, and the spirit guides that led you to creating this beautifully safe and inviting visional platform so that other's, like myself, can feel like we do belong and our inner works, our personal magic, this spiritual awakening is a blessing, no matter what life time we're in.

My mom’s side is Puerto Rican. As far as I know, I’m a 3rd generation individual who is very sensitive to visions, dreams, spirits and experiencing the raw presence of God and angelic beings(spirits) also the bad but, my Lord, crying under that presence after fasting and praying but, anyways. I only know my mom and grandmother other than myself and perhaps my brother with dreams. I’m so happy I found this. yup, everywhere! I got all my journal books in one place but the info is everywhere within my books. I wished many years ago I would have stuck with a big Gigantic book for everything I started out from until now that would have been great, but i got several also. Yup there's a notebook for each subject or every personal aspect. I so wished I would have done things differently. Loved this because I think we all do it when we get started or when becoming awake to the spiritual the divine and when the spirits get on the go, sometimes you can't focus if anyone like me, start studdering or stammering and just grab one of the journals but don't realize it's the wrong one until later on. Binge watching your videos and when you said "your ancestors guide you" Let me say that made me really think. I've been meditating and trying to make a stronger connection with my guides and I know of one that comes through very strongly is a feminine power but she's very Rosie the Riveter type, I haven't gotten her name as of yet but I know she's been with me from the beginning. She's a rebel and doesn't like authority, I'm 35 and now beginning to understand why I'm guided to certain situations

I agree! I think it can very overwhelming, especially for new or beginner witches to have so many places and resources of information. These were great tips! YES! I think labels can be super useful but aren't truly necessary, we are ever evolving beings and labels tend to stop people from exploring. YESSS don't compare! Everyone is different, your intuition is your best friend 🌱 Finding what feels good to you, especially in your craft should be one of the first considerations. Research is keeeyyy! As witches especially we should always be willing to learn more.

I do all my journaling in one book. I have a travelers notebook, so I can add a different few inserts. But I have a monthly calendar, and then a book just for astrology study and rambles. Then I have something called an Omni journal. (Everything journal). I've got tarot, astrology, journaling, weekly planning spreads, spirituality, connecting with my deities, info about herbs, or spells, crap about my annoying work day, future plans for holidays or rituals, and on, and on… I love the omnijournal. I would also LOVE to see your take on ancestors and connecting to them etc. Thanks for this wonderful video lovely! When you were talking about how being psychic runs in your family, I related so much! A lot of the women in my family are Clairvoyant, and can see events in their head before they happen. My mother is a natural healer, and she has helped people with her gift. My great grandmother had it, and my moms cousin has it. My family is very Christian however, and feel like it's an evil thing, and something to run away from. I wish my mom was aware of the power she holds. Also, on ancestors, since the majority of them are Christian, I feel as though they wouldn't want to reach out to me. The only ancestor I have reached was one that was actually a family friend.

Since I have been using protection sigils and banishing evil from my life I've had less allergy attacks and I've gotten more clues as how to practice then ever before. I wanted to practice since the late 70s when I was a teen. As soon as I find out why I'm collecting dryer lint I will let you know. It’s so awesome that your mother and grandmother are aware that they’re psychic and you got that knowledge from them. My mom is psychic too but she doesn’t believe in it and always discounted my psychic experiences. She recently started doing yoga regularly and she’s starting to be more open to her psychic abilities and finally believing my experiences. I’m sure there’s some soul contract there between us but I can’t help wonder what it would have been like if she developed her gifts when I was young or before I was born.

I use a free app for my Grimoire... It's called ColorNote... Easy to use and there are color "bookmarks" you can use to segregate the information you put in... You can connect it to a specific email address and it syncs and stores all your notes to your email that way if you have a new phone, you can just download the app on your new device, connect your email and you have all your notes again... ☺

I've been a witch since I was born. My ancestors were Druid . If you want to study witchcraft you MUST read everything and not fall into the ideals of Wicca because it is a religion created by Gerald Gardner in like the 60s? There is absolutely no way to practice the craft without looking at everything . I am gifted and she is right, every witch is different and the next generation are getting more psychically inclined. Some people are just not witches no matter how much you want to be. There is a commitment for life to work on the craft. I really appreciate your honesty about your family and how the women are gifted. That is me. All my family is gifted through many generations. I was toughy astrology by 4 lol. Great job

I have separate journals for different stuff. If I consolidate it, it's lost forever. Lol. I have a million notebooks. I like to know what's in each notebook. I agree with you that we should make our own path and not go off what someone else does. Research is important! Topics on spiritual stuff, I'm totally up for finding information on it. Anything else, not interested. I've never been so excited about doing research. It must be nice to have family members that has abilities. I'm starting from the ground up. The comment, "if you can't make time to do the research, then it's not important to you." So true! Dealing with that now. I never knew your actual name until this video. One way I messed up is actually something you mentioned, boxing myself in. In the beginning, I knew nothing and I wanted to do everything correct and by the book. But, as I grew in my craft, I learned so many ways of doing MY magick MY way. And that freed me so much from stress and it gave me creativity. I loved coming out of my box and learning about myself. ... On the other hand, I am still learning and would still like to learn. Some things I find I still am completely wrong or confused or lost in, and having just that small bit of information learned from someone else really does help. And that leads me into asking you a question. Maybe you have a video on these topics and a link will be ok. But these things bother me so much because I don't even have a starting point to begin learning about them. And all I need is that small starting point, a keyword, a key phrase, a small hint, little things to just point me in the right direction to help me get started somewhere. After that, I can go on the journey of learning more on my own.

Where can I learn what all of those mean? And numerology? What are some good resources to learn number meanings? And channeling How do I control when to close the door or to take a break from hearing them all the time? When I do want to hear one specific one, how do I get the others to stop(respectfully)? How do I convince someone that their passed person is wanting to send a personal message? And basically, how do I take better control of my channeling?

I think it's funny that I make ALL 5 mistakes!!!! I feel like l can use a mentor of some sort but still committed to doing the work. I have a planner for my daily pulls and events I attend that aid my journey.....then a journal for note taking and spells. I feel like when I tune in synchronicities go wild! I often wonder how to deeply connect but it makes sense just to simply ask them. My guides are humorous and they do funny things to get my attention. I was shopping for a pendulum yesterday and they were all rotating in a circular motion.... EXCEPT 1.... It was wiggling and vibrating like crazy.... I laughed and said alright, let's go home. I experienced that with the fire on my white candle. It was acting like it was dancing and going crazy. I even slowed my breath down and there was no wind. When I focus on it, it slows down until I look away again...🤩

There are a few very destructive/abusive ancestors in my family's recent past, and likely farther back as many families turn out some bad eggs.
