I lived in Lonsdale part of Lancaster for 18 yrs and had nothing wrong with my home. No pipe issues you spoke of. Loved my home and only left it to move more central to our family. The walking trails that built up over the years were great as it took you off the street. When we left RD we had to get E bikes, no way you could get up and down the coulees in Lethbridge at our age without them. We’ve learned to appreciate this city for its somewhat opposite features of RD. Both beautiful when you take the time to look.

Hi, great you have this channel. If I may I’d love asking some advice. I’m currently stuck in Edmonton again. I really hate it here. I have multiple disabilities but also am a big introvert and don’t like crowds or going out. I came back up here for subsidized housing which was a huge mess and claims the medical infrastructure is so much better. It is and isn’t. Anyhoo my income is through the disability pension and have wound up in a truly awful area again. I have nothing keeping me here socially or career wise and my senior parents in Airdrie have been my only supports. But the altitude dryness gets even worse there. Long story short (thanks if you are still reading) I’ve been thinking maybe Red Deer could be a good place to go. My situation is very uncommon so it’s not very relatable, but hearing from someone who knows Red Deer well would be a great help, just on living there. I’m Legally Blind and don’t drive but as long as good taxi buses are there I’m good, propably have a bus for disabilities like many alberta towns. So any thoughts/opinions would be great to hear thanks!
