it doesn't flip bad, but that literally doesn't matter, it could be the best flipping bali ever and it still wouldn't be worth it. The specs are nothing less than a slap in the face to the balisong community

I agree that JK's stuff could be quite a bit cheaper, but at least the specs, tolerances, and flippability of the orca v2s justify the price A LOT more than steel liners, washers, 440c blade, and a hilariously easy to void warranty that you get on the necron, which will also never have good tolerances because again, it's on WASHERS. the Orca v2 ti trainers I tried were unironically some of the best balisongs i've ever flipped, plus imo the Orca is the coolest looking balisong ever. Sure JK can be classified as "overpriced", but the necron is so overpriced for HILARIOUSLY bad specs that it's a slap in the face to actual flippers, and is very predatory on benchmade's part imo

the orca could easily be the *price of the necron* cheaper and he'd still make loads of cash off of them. the washers are very well done and the tolerances on mine are nearly no tap, which a lot of bushing-driven knives have difficult accomplishing because people don't know what they're doing. the 440c blade is only present on the 300 dollar trainer and is a perfectly fine blade steel for a trainer the warranty voiding is fine, plenty of companies don't even have a warranty for their knives, like jk! he'll design a knife like the monarch v1 and if your handles literally blow out from the handle gap falling apart faster than my dysfunctional family, you're fucked! no luck for jk fans. as for "predatory", jk's prices are nothing but. the necron's price is fine where it is if we're comparing it to something like a litetech or orca.
