Great video. Learned about some helicopters I’d not heard of before. By the way, you don’t say “it flies at xxx feet”. You want to say “it has an operating ceiling of xxx feet”. Cheers

It is hard to believe, no matter how much HP the helicopters have, they all seems to cruise around 95 kts and can take just 2 people. (with one exception) What you did not say is the 3X cost of maintenance per flight hours.

they are not capable of much more than 100knots due to too much exposed spinning blades, you can get to 125mph(terminal velocity) if you aim at the terrain.

i cannot believe the Hummingbird is not number ONE, it has far more practical applications and a higher safety record than any of the others and not lets get started on it range!

@@AviationFederationthis kit to me and the modifications made to it make it the most outstanding kit on the market, Vertical Aviation , you can range from a corvette engine , to a flat 6, stabilizers (fins at the back) help it in heavy winds if you add the thicker carbon fiber blades the stability greatly increase this can carry up to 4 people and luggage with a 375 miles range or 3 with a 546 mile range , the hp is uasally 260 to 300 with a few modern engines beign developed you can see cheaper cost and 340 hp to 400 hp at a cost of 1.90, to give you and example the HX50 is projected to cost 750 000 to 1.5 million, you can already get a kit made from a certified aircraft with a few mods to enhance it for 160 000, a fraction of the cost and near same capabilities! I have seen many with little experience land this kit with autorotations safety it is amazing! I even saw one chap install his engine incorrectly getting to 8 000 ft the range is 14 000 btw, and still land saftey!!

The Syton AH 130 is an Italian helicopter developed by RotorWay Exec, and it is manufactured under license by Alpi Aviation from Pordenone. The Syton AH 130 is powered by a turbine engine / although RotorWay also has a turbine engine /

If one is looking at he kiss price range might as well start looking at some better used helicopters then, it would have to be cheaper to make sense. I like the Rana but the price is still on the straosphere for a mere mortal, i mean we ARE taling KIT built copters here, it would have to come down to half that price to be interesting.

This data is flawed and just because they are the most expensive, I don't see them as the best.

I love that those category of 🚁's are still in progress but I always think that their power is to low and this is the reason of the higher crash-💥-rate instead of the little bit bigger versions/category like for example the MD-500 …. But okay, I think the Robinson's 22 or 44 having sadly one of the highest crashes of all civilian-Chopper’s 🙁 PS: Great Upload & I really enjoyed watching this video ✌🏼‼️

When it comes to R44 accidents, I think that we should take into account the fact that there are a lot of them in private use and that they are operated by pilots with PPL who, unfortunately, are not the best trained, that is, they fly with few flight hours
