The Kalos League was THE BIGGEST HEARTBREAK. Greninja lost to a single attack THAT IT RESISTS. From a Charizard that had taken damage FROM BOTH ASH-GRENINJA AND PIKACHU. There is no justifying why Ash didn't win the Kalos League. Oneshotted by a resisted attack from a already damaged Charizard. Sorry, writers, but WE DON'T BUY IT.

Ash leaving charizard was the saddest episode hands down. That was one of his 1st Pokemon and easily had the most character development of all his Pokemon at the time, including Pikachu. The episode ended with ash running away from charizard crying

The only episode I cried on was the last XYZ episode; especially the end credits; Serena says goodbye, Ash and Clemont's final battle, Dedene doesn't want to say goodbye, etc. Although that was 2 years and a few months ago, I still gain tears from that particular scene.

The episode where Ash had to fight against Darkrai and Latios was the most enraging experience I ever had with the anime. I mean WHAT THE FUCK?! Why does a trainer you have never heard of before just happen to have these ultra OP Pokémon?! There's a fan theory floating about that Chimecho was actually dying in that episode and James wasn't able to cope with it, hence why in the end he "sees" Chime waving with seemingly no injuries or ill health. The final few episodes of X and Y were the best out of them all. The Kalos league and the battle against Zygarde were so awesome.. They made Ash look pretty cool. Also the finals and semi-finals in Kalos league were two of the best Pokémon battles ever.... Him losing in the finals was expected(not just because of plot Armor, also because that charizard was truly too strong) , but it was still a good battle to see
