I would add Imi, founder of krav maga, but especially Morihei Ueshiba founder of Aikido, Cus D'Amato who maybe wasnt a champion, but he trained a legend, which changed the boxing world forever

All these great men helped path the way to modern martial arts, while I have a great Love for what Lee did and Americanized martial arts all these men were invaluable to its legacy.

Ueshiba meio que simplificou o daito Ryu , se você dissesse Takeda do aiki aí sim , ueshiba foi esperto , não tem competiçao e eu tive um desafio e depois compreendi o universo , o que muitos mestre chineses quando criavam um estilo diziam que tiveram contatos com espíritos , pode ocorrer , pode mas no caso do aikido eu achei forçado , e efetivo e contra quem não sabe nada . Agora um bom lutador de rua dia sim dia não vive brigando aí e outra estória . Abraços .

You left out European masters, such as George Silver, Zachary Wilde, Fiore dei Liberia, Hans Dobringer etc. Europe has as much martial history as Asian countries, and their arts are still being studied to this day.
