Anyone who’s not excited about “negotiating “ with a car salesman should really consider the Costco program . We used it this week’s and I was astonished how good a deal we got a Kia Soul . 2025 for $20900.00 . They have used one’s selling for about the same.
@mnn126515 күн бұрын
I did go through the Costco program for my recent purchase of a Honda Odyssey. If you don't know how to or don't want to negotiate with the dealer it can be helpful. However, you should know that I got a MUCH better deal on my purchase than the Costco price... A LOT better by about $3k in fact! You can do much better if you are willing. I also used the inventory information from caredge to give me critical information about vehicles that had been sitting on the lot for long periods and used the information to get a great deal.

PROBLEM: let's say, with the Jeep $100,000 version should be about $60,000 maybe $65,000, so even with the discounts you're talking about they STILL are WAY to high and have been for years. People should just stop buying cars altogether and eventually the dealers will either go out of business or lower their prices to something WAY more reasonable instead of screwing the customers just because they can...

I negotiated a Honda Odyssey Sport for $5k less than MSRP ($40k). A higher price than I wanted to pay but I'm pretty happy about the vehicle for the price in today's market - and I managed to get an extended warranty to 100k miles basically thrown in the deal so I'm set for quite awhile. I think minivans should be closer to $30k than $40k but that's just not the pricing today. The Toyota Sienna comparable model was $50k so I felt good about the Honda price I scored.

I think by now, after COVID and all this high inflation and the recession we're in, people are starting to wake up and not pay these outrageous prices for lower quality vehicles. Especially since the prices on cars/trucks that went from a V8 engine to a turbo 6, or from a V6 to a turbo 4, or in some cases from a 4 cylinder to a 3 cylinder, you're getting PHYSICALLY less car/engine for the money. If you buy a car that should have a V6 or a straight 6 and it now has a 3 cylinder turbo engine the price you pay for the engine should be cut in half since you're getting half an engine? Right?? 🤔

Dodge Durango: They just announced a "Stop Sale", so I'm pretty sure you're not getting any deal at all on one right now. Nissan Titan: Discontinued after the 2024 MY. Like what you guys do, but this video is very misleading. There are no deals at all to be had on these trucks & SUV's. Specifically Stellantis. The Grand Wagoneer & RAM's have been inflated & price gouged by at least over 50% or more on MSRP. Getting $10k or even $20k off on a vehicle, more specifically the Jeep, that is so overpriced that it's still $30k-$40k too high, even at the discount, that most financiers will not even extend loans on for people with 800+ credit scores, unless they drop 30-50% down in order to make the bank more comfortable with the loan... that is NOT a good deal.
