Sacai vaporwaffles are super underrated. In my opinion they are misunderstood and I feel they are intimidating to a lot of people due to the height and platform nature of them. The problem was that besides the original colors of the black+white and the red+white+blue, the colorways are kinda garbage.

I feel there really isn’t a one good answer but instead many valid ones. However, a big contributor is the mass appeal footwear has gained across social media (e.g. tiktok) and thus more and more people have bought into the idea of collecting sneakers with the belief that they are an asset class. Everyone is a reseller now, but the amount of actual wearers remain the same. Basically, a “too many chiefs, not enough indians” situation.
