Kingdom of Heaven is indeed an amazing film. I think it starts slow but the intensity of emotion, the action scenes, and the real message of the film come through in the last 45 minutes during the siege of Jerusalem. “If this is indeed the kingdom of heaven, let God do with it as He wills.”

Definitely Kingdom of Heaven was the best especially the directors cut. They did bend over backwards to make Saladin look good but I can live with that. The truth of the matter is he didn't just let the people of Jerusalem go, they had to pay a ransom and if they couldn't they were sold into slavery. They did the same thing in Arn Knights Templar my second favorite. A total mess up of Templar history is the History Channels Knightfall which was a total rewrite of history. But then it's the History Channel so what more can you expect.

i think Saladin was a general who knew how to use the carrot and the stick appropriately and hes probably better portrayed in Arn the knights templar rather than Kingdom of heaven

Your monologue was incredibly cringe. Humanity didn’t just “decide” to divide itself along religious differences. Humans have always believed in the divine. Furthermore, the Crusades were not what caused enmity between Muslims and Christians. The Crusades were taking back previously Christian lands which had been invaded and conquered by Muslims, who were continuing to burn across Europe without any sign of stopping.

I loved the director's cut of 'Kingdom of Heaven', far more than the theatrical release. Yes, there are historical inaccuracies, but it nails the type personalities and behaviors of the of the time, from what I've read. 'Robin Hood' was also a good film, although I wish there had been a second part to it. The others, I'll have to catch. Thanks! :)

Naa although i loved the movie. It basicly puts modern morals ideals and codes into a historical time period. They dont act like people from those times. It piants it very black and white when it was in fact very complicated.

It's horribly inaccurate. Does little to mention the prior 300 years of Muslim barbarism in the middle East. I doubt people even know that prior to the rape and conquest by Islam the Middle East was majority Christian.

He actually sounded pretty ignorant because the enmity between Muslims and Christians or other faiths started by Arab Muslims invading countries one after another. Crusades were AFTER Muslims invaded the West and if Christians didn't fight back, there would be no difference between West and Middle East today. Both would be a shithole run by Islamists.

Some of the Crusaders only went to fight for Land/Wealth while others were devout Christians. Some of the Crusades were disasters e.g. the children’s crusade. Scholars are still arguing about how many Crusades actually took place. I’ve seen 8 or 9 listed but in one book there were some minor ones making it 11. In one older book it was written that King Richard rode up to a castle by himself and they surrendered. It was also written that he cut a Saracen soldier in half while on horseback. He was a brute and was killed while attacking a castle in Britain.
@cathryncampbell85552 жыл бұрын
@@albertperrin694 Actually, I believe that Richard was shot in the shoulder with an arrow while he was attacking a castle near Limoges, France. The wound became gangrenous & Richard nobly forgave the shooter -- a boy -- before he died. Richard's various body parts were buried in a number of locales in France, but nothing made it to England....

Please do some historical research. To blame Christianity for starting religious military conflicts is highly inaccurate. From its beginning Christianity spread through peaceful and willing conversions, it was not until the continued militaristic expansion of the muslims that Pope Uban II finally called for the 1st Crusade. Before islam was created by muhammad in the 7th century all of the land bordering the Mediterranean was Christian, this includes the Levant and North Africa. Even before the 1st Crusade Christians on the Iberian Peninsula were attempting to defend themselves from muslims taking the entire peninsula.

I've often wondered if Urn was Robin Hood.. . Templar and other True knights don't have a record of Robin of Locksley. . But, urn was sentenced to 20 years.. Robin Hood could have been Freemasons claiming they have the holy Grail. They tried to create the stories of a crusade who found the Grail? . If Robinhood was a noble? He would of had a horse.. . So maybe Urn was the inspiration for the Ronin hood story? . Prince Jon had a lookalike he was going to use in battle. There is a Robon Ham, or Keywoth.. there is also a Wagoneer named Mariam Ham, or he's Keywoth? Vice versa.

Hollywood is the real Holy Land. It is Toronto Tribe Land of Queen King and Knights of Canada. The Holy Grail Natalie Helferty. Orlando Bloom is a Knight Templar. Liam Neesan is a Knight Templar. They dont know it though but know they are Knights of Canada. We are learning what God grants Us as Royal Titles in the King James Bible of Canada. We know Ourselves as Hollywood Royals in a Modern Day way of being Queen King and Knights as towns and cities were made by the Evil Spirit starting in 1945 and so We dont know any other existence yet as Original Creation is in Heaven still since 1922.
