You did such a great job on this! I live in Washington Park, my son just sold the 2nd home he had in West End; he had one in Ardmore, and just moved to Buena Vista. We ❤ Winston Salem & we have lived in several states, and houses. If I could, I would live Downtown!! Wherever you live in Winston Salem, spend much time Downtown. 🥰

West End Café is absolutely amazing. There's a lot of good restaurants in West End.

I finally booked a trip there in March. I will text you closer to when I get there I love the historic neighborhoods, but prefer something small and newer 😢

Washington Park has a huge petty crime problem. Lots of break-ins of both homes and vehicles. It's eclectic, artsy and certainly wealthy compared to it's surrounding neighborhoods where all the crime comes from. Pull up a crime report for the area before deciding to move there. It's slowly being gentrified after falling into disrepair for a few decades, so it's getting better.
