New York state has the wonderful Catskills and the equally impressive Adirondack mountains and the nearby Thousand Islands on the St. Lawrence River - as well as the fabulous Finger Lakes in central-western part of the state - and majestic Letchworth gorge on the Genesee River south of Rochester called the grand canyon of the east!! And access to two of the Great Lakes - Ontario and Erie!

nice video, right near Awosting Falls (out side New Paltz,NY there is one of the absolute classic hotels in America. The Mohonk Mountain House,a big classic old school palace,fire place in most rooms,high tea style.Expensive, but oh it is so worth it. no matter the season.Can spend hours just wandering and exploring the grounds and building.A step above the Otsega in Cooperstown and the Sagamore in Lake George.

Hi thanks for comment , it’s very easy to get there . To drive over catskill is about 2:00to 2:30 minutes drive depends on traffic along Bronx . For watching fall foliage look for over looks located in different locations.first of all decide which part u will go as catskill is very big park . I usually drive there through Bronx then follow highway based on targeted location - mostly avoid George Washington bridge manhattan ( escape double toll) - thank you

Hey i couldn’t hike that time due to trail closure for safety reason , but tried to show it from drone capture - next time will try to make a clip only on katterskill falls . Thank you

You can drive to the top and walk 1/4 mile to the viewing platform. Cheating! But the regular trail hike is NOT very easy for someone who doesn’t to hike regularly. All the online dummies that say “it’s an easy hike” etc are lying.
