@@starkiller1341 hey mind sharing some tips with me along the road like what pokemon's should I have in my team primarily cuz it's been years

@@jaygoesjim yeah no problem. Personally I dont play with strategy in mind for the main story, mainly because I've played these games hundreds of times so I just pick pokemon I feel like and run through the game like that. The legendary birds are always a strong choice when you get to them, can be used effectively against the elite 4. Snorlax is also very useful, high HP etc. You can pick any starter you want but if you havent played in a while I would reccomend bulbasaur as hes super effective against the first two gym leaders so that's a good bet. Other than that, not really sure what other advice to give! It's not the hardest pokemon game by any means, but it's not as easy as the newer games that tend to hold your hand like sun and moon. Hope that helps lol

So I've got 3 badges and my 6 main pokemon's are squirtle ( level 30) garados ( level 26) bellsprout( level 25) pidgeotto( level 25) pikachu ( level 26) dugtrio( level 30) . Is it good enough or will I face difficulties for the further challenges . Thanks again 🤙

I reccomend evolving squirtle and bellsprout as soon as you can but solid team, just level up as much as you can before taking on the elite 4 and again, if your struggling with some of your team by that point than a legendary bird would definatly help. Zapdos always done me good at the elite 4

I used Suicune’s “pressure” ability which basically doubles PP used by the enemy on mewtwo until he literally ran out of all his PP for every move and just whittled him down until he got caught lol. Took 1 try

Raikous pressure can be deadly if he has thunder wave on his move set. Whenever an opponent uses an attack move they could potentially waste 2 pp on a move that won’t even hit. This can be risky when using moves that only have 5 pp max.

One really cool thing about the Sevi Islands at least the last four Islands have Johto Tracks from the Gold and Silver games c: I loved that so much. Fun Fact: Ruby and Sapphire were supposed to have all three Regions but the concept was permanently scrapped for taking too much of the hardware capabilities on the GameBoy Advance and furthermore of fear that this would have the same issues in future titles for newer Pokemon games on the newer handheld systems. I couldn't imaging Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon having even two Regions or going back to Kanto, or having all the Regions, I feel the game wouldn't even be a game because it would be unplayable xD The reason they brought the Sevi Islands was to give a feel to Johto and Gold and Silver since there were going to be no remakes for Gold and Silver on the GameBoy Advance. They did a pretty good job keeping the nostalgia in a new way at that day of time I suppose^.^

I loved finding the Johto pokemon in LGFR and Emerald back in the day. They're rarity in Gen 3 made them super fascinating.

The best "oldschool" Pokemon games (Gen 1 to 5) are Hearthgold/Soulsilver, B2W2 and Platinum. The Order may differ but those are the Top 3 of most people that played all the games. Emerald, Leafgreen/Firered and B/W are close behind, some people have personal favourites of course like Red/BlueYellow or Gold/Silver/Crystal. My personal favourites are B2W2, Hearthgold and Leafgreen. Leafgreen lacks in postgame and is overall "just" a remake. Hearthgold and B2W2 have just an insane amount of postgame content and are just a bit more polished.

@@starkiller1341 After ruby and saphire quest theres nothing to do besides rematch elite four. Is a gba pkmn i still have and literally was looking for things to do. There arent. Ruby and Sapphire are the best for revisit them cause i have the gc-gba cable so i can trade w pkmn box and xd, so i do new games w creative teams. Leaf green doesnt have anything. Emerald is the best for competitive purposes so i dont restart it. Thats the point of pokemon: suffering buying more. Thanks for commenting and reading!

wow! your right, I think there is tracks that sound very johto ish! didn't know that about ruby and sapphire, I know its going to be hard for any games to do two regions, but maybe the Nintendo switch could do it! yeah thanks for some of those facts, I really like the sevii islands, something more to do!
