These tips are gold. And I’m guilty of not putting in the extra work on these

Keep these coming. I like these shorter videos and as always, riding on road trips listening to the pod casts 👍🏻

Just subscribed man. Great advice for this upcoming season love hearing it from other guys perspective on how they tackle their area of public. I think my biggest takeaway from last year and heading into this year is trying to figure out where deer transition on different pieces during different phases on the year. It’s crazy how during the rut how much an area can go from being used daily by mature bucks to not a buck visiting that area for the rest of the year towards the end of season. The couple days after season I spent a lot of truck time the last hours of the day dropping pins on where I saw deer accessing crops and where they were coming from to narrow down those late season hunts if I don’t tag out by then. Keep up the great work!

I do the stick climbing method and there were a few times I forgot my strap tree saddle platform or my versa link strap for my climbing stick. I was curious have a contingency plan for hunting on the ground? Do scout for hunting spots on the ground incase for whatever you can't hunt in your treesaddle? Has ever been situations we're decided get out of your tree saddle and do a spot and stalk?

I'm fine hunting on the ground if I need to. As for spotting and stalking, I don't really do much of that unless I'm somewhere like Kansas. Where I can get a visual at a distance. Don't have that much open space where I'm at. I'd mostly be stalking blindly in most of my spots.
