The food is Colombia doesn't have tons of sugar added to it, they use organic ingredients, they don't extract nutrients, and they don't pack it with chemicals/toxins/preservatives. Colombia actually takes the WIN in the food category in my opinion.

Maybe at very high end expensive restaurants you will find organic ingredients. It’s def not the norm. Most places I went the sauces and dishes were loaded with extra sugar. Way too sweet for my liking. They even add ketchup to pizza! So yeah, if you want to pay American prices and eat at organic restaurants, you can also find us this in Colombia. True.

Other good neighborhoods are Teusaquillo, Park Way area (Palermo) and Ciudad Salitre.

I live in the suburbs of bogota it’s really quite here and it’s safer but it’s boring, even though i live nearby beautiful little towns such as Zipaquirá cajica and Guatavita the town of the el dorado legend. Anyway I love bogota I go there every weekend I miss the noise and the energy of the city there is always something new happening but remember no dar papaya

Also, with the Metro, Regiotrams (trains) and Corredor verde the city is going to look and feel much better!

How much did the meal prep delivery service cost? Could you type out the name as well?

Sure, it was called Manzana Verde (which means "Green Apple"). We really liked it. We bought a package of several meals at a time and you just pick the day or a few days before which selections you want. They deliver daily usually mid day. or like 10:00 or 11:00 am. The cost ends up being about $4 USD per meal. For us it was well worth it because it was healthy, tasted better than it looks, had protein and vegetable, and no clean up!

I wouldn't say Colombians are particularly "gay Friendly" I'd say they have more of the old "mind your own business" which works for everything.

The biggest bar or discoteca in Colombiano is gay. In Bogotá You can SEE gays kissing each other in Transmil and nobody cares.
