The final tip is also called the “out-in-out” technique, it makes it so it’s the straightest and fastest way through a corner and obviously commonly used with racing drivers
@MilitiaGamingCommunity3 жыл бұрын

@dontcryboutit3 жыл бұрын
Brake to maximum capacity at your braking point Move your vision to the apex point Turn-in your car at the turn-in point Make the apex of the ideal racing line Begin to introduce the accelerator Open up steering to the corner’s exit point This creates numerous advantages: as the turn-in point is slightly later, you can brake a little later, saving lap time the amount of time you spend turning is reduced - a car is fastest in a straight line, so you want to optimise this because the car is turned earlier in the corner, the corner exit is opened up, and you can get to full throttle sooner
@dontcryboutit3 жыл бұрын

Nice video militia :) Btw a small pointer, the poles and other little stuff do actually affect speed, you can notice this especially when you go for times. The max you can lose from those is maybe 3kmh but it's still something that affects speed

I appreciate that feedback. I’ve never gone for records before. I was just watching the speedometer while running through it and haven’t noticed any loss of speed. But I do trust you on this. You’re a straight up Alien when it comes to racing games! :)

Something I’ve noticed while playing is regulating your speed when hitting the jumps. Some times it’s better to ease off the gas when approaching a jump as it will get you back to the ground quicker, and then back on the throttle for acceleration.

racing lines is just a fancy way of saying, go straight through the turn, the farther you are from the inside of the corner, the straighter you go
@kader0406913 жыл бұрын
I would say also avoid jumps that just go straight and back on track a little further. You're not gaining any speed on while on air and will loose speed with the impact. Also cornering too tight by touching the dirt on the side of the road will end on a not always profitable loss of speed.

Apologies if this is asked or answered elsewhere... Your "All or nothing" tip, is great. I unfortunately experience this kind of thing all the time and it is because my left (steering) joystick only does anything right at max. Do you have a video or can you explain how to calibrate this? Any help appreciated. EDIT: Extra info that may be relevant. I play through Steam, so it could be the controller interface there and the type I'm emulating is PS2 style. Everything else works ok. The steering is very frustrating as it really is all or nothing without any gradient.
