Very glad you are enjoying our province, and plan on staying. Many people prefer more populated areas, and possibly for larger migrant communities if from abroad. You are a great ambassador!

Now we are ready to retire and I really want to move there somewhere around the Brá dor lakes. Buy much cheaper and invest the rest. Love Nova Scotia.

Lovely lady for sure and am glad you are enjoying Nova Scotia but just make sure you understand the challenges this low populated friendly province has been enduring. Our children and grand children who work here now cannot look forward to owning their own home due to the rising cost in home prices and availability. Infrastructure had been struggling to keep up with demand for years now it is impossible to find economical housing for those earning less. I have seen this many times in many parts of the world where locals are forced out of their communities because they can no longer afford to reside there. It's great for others moving in when they can purchase a home here much cheaper then other areas but locals are now unable to afford. Health care here has been broken for years now people are actually suffering without proper medical care and testing. There is a large aging population here that has paid into a system now to be left in great need. Sorry if this sounds unfriendly not meant to be just another perspective. Their are many of us who want to keep this province protected from over population issues. Not everyone is feeling confident with these potential problems.
