Very useful. I bought a Prettycare 2 years ago and it works great. Now I'm considering another vacuum for my mom that has a good performance as Prettycare does. I will take a look at Tineco

That’s amazing! So glad I have it already on the way to try! From lots of research now, the s5 pro 2 definitely has the most perfect all around performance/quality. Nothing is perfect of course, but this one seems to definitely be the closest. :) Congratulations on the paid promotion! :)

Would this replace mopping my tile floors once a month? I don’t want to mop with a traditional mop and bucket any longer
@justmytwocents6212 Жыл бұрын
Wow, thank you for this review ❤. I love my Tineco and has been using it for almost a year. However in my 7th month of use, I had to replace the battery because the power depleted super fast. Do you mind sharing how you maintain the batt life? Do you unplug the charger once it reached 100%? Thank you 😊
@Type5Reviews Жыл бұрын
That’s unfortunate about your battery life. I keep mine on the charging base plugged in so it’s always ready to go and haven’t had any battery issues. I’d check with Tineco to see if it’s under warranty.

i wonder if it can handle a hard wood floor wax solution? Id love to put it to the test and see if it can handle a latex paint remover solution too.

Nice review. Do you know how it handles pet air? Thank you.
@Type5Reviews Жыл бұрын
I don’t have any pets so I couldn’t quite say. It does pick up my wife and daughters hair, you just have to watch out for longer hair getting stuck in the tube between the roller and dirty water tank.

I'm just tired of my being and then seeing the floor is still dirty. Just rubbing dirty mop and dirty water over and over again. I want to be able to suck all that dirt out. Ordered mine today.

Can you clean under the bed, where you need to straighten up the handle a little bit?
@chriscol6771 Жыл бұрын
So the self cleaning that it does...the dirty water & dirt goes back into the sweeper ? Or charging station has a reservoir you have to empty & clean as well ? Thanks for video
@Type5Reviews Жыл бұрын
The dirty water during the cleaning process goes into the vacuum’s dirty water tank. There is no separate thing to clean on the charging station itself.

Can you use this on short pile carpets/ area rugs? Just trying to replace my broken dyson v8 and thought this would offer extra functionality, but dont know if I would need another device to clean the carpets. (if this can be used with suction and without water/cleaning solution, it might be sufficient for carpet cleaning before doing any mopping)
@Type5Reviews8 ай бұрын
I’ve used it with suction only mode on my area rug, but I probably wouldn’t rely on it for rugs or carpet. A regular vacuum with bristles for your rugs would still be needed.
@kellikempton59978 ай бұрын
How does it work with caked on or dried, mud, water marks from animal foot prints etc.
@Type5Reviews8 ай бұрын
While we don’t have any pets, it does pretty well with shoe marks/water marks. Dried on mud takes more of a scrubbing effect, so there are times where it would be nice if there was just a little more weight to the head of the vacuum to really increase the scrubbing power. But the extra water from max mode helps and it does a decent job at detecting when it’s run into something dirty.

I have a question. It's no necessary wash the roll with the self-cleaning is enough?
@Type5Reviews Жыл бұрын
For everyday use the self cleaning does a good job at cleaning the roller, but you may want to occasionally wash the roller as well. I would more recommend cleaning or at least rinsing out the dirty water tank after each use.

I noticed you have a piece of tape on the tank. Why is that? Also does it actually get right up to the edge or not really?
@Type5Reviews Жыл бұрын
I just put the tape on the water tank to show where the water level was before and then after running the cleaning cycle. And if you use the open edge it does a pretty good job getting all the way up to the edge.

The worst product I’ve ever, ever used. Error codes galore. Water spews out everywhere. The ineffective machine can’t suck up the loads of water. I needed to use a mop to clean up the mess. The dirty water compartment didn’t suck up anywater. It was so bad that I assume your video was paid advertisements. GFYS

Ruined my brand new $8k floors. These are NOT safe for luxury vinyl plank floors. Ruined 1500 square feet of my new floors with rubber burns from the squeegee, then they offered me $10
@TennantScott7 ай бұрын
You paid $8k for $1/sq ft lvp? Please tell me your house is 5000+ square ft and 100% of the flooring was replaced
@SaraRidgard7 ай бұрын
@@TennantScott nope. Tineco insisted it wasn’t ruined and didn’t do anything further to fix it. The brand I got was coretec paid $3.50 per square foot. They’re warranty doesn’t cover it because I guess rubber and LVP cause a chemical Reaction. There’s rubber on the wheels and squeegee of the Tineco which burned my floors.

@@bugpack6 not walking. But imagine basketball players and rubber burns. We tried everything to get them up. Including erasers and tennis balls. The dragging, friction, and heat from the rubber lip dragging ruined them.

I got this and I have to change the water out 3 or 4 times for about 1000 ft^2. The only way I can see using this is as a spot cleaner. For $300 it should be better. It's got a lot of fancy bells and whistles (LCD screen, voice, wifi), but if it can't clean my mild to moderately dirty floors in one go (or two at the most) who f'ing cares.

Great video but I stopped watching after you put the dirty water in the sink, outside in the yard would be a better option 😉
