Love the video but personally i believe 10 gallons is too small for anoles and day geckos. They are very active lizards and need at least a 30 gallon tank and much more if kept in multiples to be able to be able to exercise and climb like they need. I have my day gecko in a 25 gallon equivalent exo terra and feel he’s cramped for the amount of space he uses, i will be upgrading him in the near future. They may be able to live in that size of enclosure but i feel quality of life is important.

Oh I breed day geckos also. I brought in about 50 last year. My giant day geckos are in a eight foot tall tent but I was talking about peacock day geckos. If you decide you want to give them 25 gallons do it. The more space the better but I personally find it so much easier to locate them in ten gallons. Its easier to maintain feed clean all of that. If you want to give them more though do it. They will love you for it.

The care is similar. I keep the white eyes a little less humid. And I wouldn't cohab the two. Not to say it couldn't work I just haven't seen it. I would be scared to try it with my skinks personally.

I bought an adorable Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens into my 29×29×29cm enclosure. Now, ok let's be honest, I HAD expected an allergic reaction to the kicked out hairs, but not to the extent I've got from it... I'm thinking about sending it back to the seller, luckily he's a very understanding guy and if my symptoms will get worse, he allowed me to ship it back, or give it away... Now, if that allergic reaction will force me to abandon my new invertebrate baby girl, upon throught and careful cleaning and dissinfecting of the enclosure (or buying new one of similar, or at least a bit higher size) I wish to get another pet in the spider's place. One that I could provide for andone that would feel comfortable in such small enclosure... I know that when it comes to vertebrae animals, the bigger usually means the better, but my current space only allows me for 29,5×29×29cm OR 29,5x59×29cm (length×hight×depth) max... I wish to habituate an animal which won't give me the same allergic reaction, but which wouldn't feel trapped, or uncomfortable in such small enclosure. I've only had experience with lizards and snakes before. I'd really appreciate an honest answer.

If I were in your position I would try orchid mantises or jumping spiders. They both have a lot of character and wouldn't mind your presence. In fact I think you would even be able to handle them so long as your gentle in your approach.

Anoles would appreciate more room than a 10 gallon. Viper gecko would be a better choice. Sphaerodactylus or gonatodes gecko species are also small enough but very skittish more of display pet

Moorish geckos are in my top 3 favorite reptiles by far, I’ve been keeping them for 1 year (m and f) and I got them to breed (but didn’t know how to get young to eat so it died) I did this by just using the uv bulb and barley misting, I found 11 more eggs since then but killed them all because I didn’t wanna kill another young. If you know how to get the young to eat please tell me I would love to begin captive breeding them

I love the energy, and the work. Now for a second when you was talking about the red/white eyed crocodile skink I thought you meant for a breeding pair. But I realize u ment separate. Awesome, thanks for the info I plan on getting a croc skinks this Christmas. And I have there enclosure planned out. I’ll definitely be coming back to this channel.

Incorrect. 10 gallons are made for smaller fish amphibians inverts and reptiles. There are many reptiles that can live in ten gallons there entire lives.

Giant day geckos get up to 12 inches, and regular day geckos get up to 6 inches. Don't listen to this guy, he does not know what he is talking about, or doing. Please do your research, and know your facts first.

I breed giant day geckos but we were talking about peacock day geckos. If you want to give them the world that's fine but I find it way easier to work with peacocks in ten gallons. You do you though.
