I was in a bit of a slump after I was in a work related accident and was told I was permanently disabled and lost my job. I stopped caring about my appearance, stopped doing things I used to love. The hardest thing for me was that I also became photosensitive, allergic to the sun and so I lost the ability and healing that going outside brought me. For me, I have a wonderful husband who helped me go through the withdrawals of my medication meant to help my pain, who bought me houseplants to care for in my house, who brought me a litter of kittens to care for, and a new house to do all this in. And who encouraged me to write. He would bundle me up so the sun wouldn't touch my skin and take me on rides into unpopulated areas to look for wildlife and natural features. and all this helped me so much.

I’m dealing with pretty severe Post Covid Syndrome which makes me spend most of my time in bed. Since I can’t go put on my favorite outfit or do makeup, what I do instead is wear socks that will make me happy!! I have socks with different animals, characters, and other things I love of them, and they help boost my mood a bit 🥰

I would suggest keeping some rose quartz or amethyst next to your bed or under your pillow. Whenever you need a boost of self love, Grab a crystal and hold it. Maybe give yourself some self love affirmations while you hold it. I find this helps me a lot. 🌹❤️

When I was researching my family tree I found out that my grandmother (my mothers mother) had postpartum psychosis. I was told as a child that she had died young & my mother never spoke of her. I discovered that after her last child she was admitted to a mental institution & as it was in the 1930's there were not the mental health drugs there are today. She died aged 29 of Tuberculosis after four years in the hospital. I managed to get copies & even a photograph of her, as the hospital still had records. It was so sad reading all the reports of her that were documented about her health.

Well GOD LOVE YA, I was feeling sluggish and unmotivated (and starting to slide into sadness) but after I watched this video, I enchanted my necklace, I went outside to pull weeds in the rain (I LOVE RAIN!) and NOW I feel spirited AND serene I'm looking forward to my projects for today. WHEW thanks!

Thanks for sharing!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this one! A Freemason once shared with me a spell to get rid of negative energies.. take a bath with epsom salt and say "Salt & water purify negative energy where it lie, As I will it so mote it be" and repeat it 3 times ;-) and just envision it all going to Mother Gaia to do with it as she will. =-)

I like to write a list of 10 things b4 bed that I am grateful for to help with my emotional well being. I also find having my bedroom as just a place to sleep but with some appropriate crystals on the nightstand, use a calming spray that I make for the room, and make sure I wash my bed linens very often helps me feel better. I also try to have at least one new hobby each season to delve into so I feel like I’ve accomplished something every time I work on it. Lastly, I love picking out matching jewelry for all my outfits, even if they aren’t nice clothes. Reading a great book for even 20 min a day can really help too if I can find the quiet time.

Hi lovely Ginny, I too suffered postpartum depression and psychosis, almost 30 years ago now. You are right that it never really goes away. I have lived with CPTSD ever since and self care is vital for my health. I believe in a natural and wholistic approach to my health. Thank you for these lovely rituals, I will definitely use them 🙏 be well ❤️

Exercise! Preferably combined with your suggestion of being outdoors, but indoors with the windows open is a substitute. Not only does exercise lift the mood, but it can move around stuck energy. I also like to say a blessing, and draw a sigil with my spoon, in a morning cup of coffee or tea. Thank you for sharing, wonderful suggestions, being out in nature is always my favorite

I like to use music when I'm down, always helps lift my mood. Cold showers are a great way to give your shower ritual a boost. Tones the muscles and fights depression. Feel free to howl at the moon with a shock of cold water on your body. I used to hate the cold and after practicing cold therapy I've created a bit of a tolerance now.

I love going out in nature it has always helped me through depressive episodes. Now I go out and look for a lovely spot and smoke cleanse myself and meditate/pray, offer incense to the Gods and a tobacco offering for the nature spirits. Maybe even a tarot reading if it feels right. Maybe smoke a little ouid. Let me tell you, it's a recharging experience and I absolutely love it!! I'm also wanting to get into veiling when I go out. I've heard good things from spiritual people that it can help center you.

These are all good tips for daily self care that I practice. For me it's important to spend some time each day selecting just the right jewelry that feels good for that day. Then I'm really "dressed" and ready to face the day. Sometimes my selection doesn't feel "right" and I have to change the adornment before I leave the house.

Hello Ginny. Thank you for sharing your experience with Post Partum Psychosis. I too suffered from this when my child was born, and I think it's important for people to understand that seeking medical attention is so very important. You can seek medical and spiritual help without having to choose between them. Many have been given false information that medical intervention shouldn't be mixed with herbalism because that wasn't how our ancestors did it. This is true, but only because medical science wasn't even close to what it is today. With the luxury of medical science in our modern times, we have many avenues to keep us healthy, and shouldn't turn down any of them. I love watching you. You're so inspiring 💗

Thank you for such a beautiful video, mental health is so important and needs to be openly discussed more. I tend to use lavender smoke, it remains me of being at home when I was young, my mum grew lavender all over the garden. Another thing I do is hang a bunch of eucalyptus from my shower, it’s very uplifting. Being out in nature is incredibly important and grounding. I never thought about the choosing of clothes and a make up spell, but it really does make sense. Sending blessings to you all.

I have alwas used nature as a terpeut when I have gone through som hard times. Years ago there was many employees who became redundant at the company, and as I only had een there for 18 months I was among those who had to go. Some helth problems also got worse at this time. So I was not wll and had no job, the forrest saved me. I am retired with a dissablee pension now, and on days when the pain is bad and life is not at best, I get dressed in nice clothes and put on make-up to fele better. If I look my best, I start feeling better as well.

I also wanted to comment on your glamour spell. I am so intrigued by this, and in another video you also mention using glamour spells to look and feel more attractive and confident. It hit me that it truly works, because I find you so magnetic and attractive to listen to and watch. I don't mean this in a sexual way, but just that you come across so charismatic--you simply are enchanting in the true sense of the word. I recommended to her and sent her instructional information for the greater banishing ritual but I’m not even sure if that is the right thing to do. I also sent some information on how to keep her children safe. If there’s anybody that knows what to do and how to help her, it’s you. Please watch her last video and get her email.
