It's not just the maternity leave, it's also the paid vacations, healthcare. European countries just seem to understand how important it is to have time to reflect, rejuvenate, and reboot. The states are terrible about self care, it's just about running yourself into the ground. That is why we need to have a solid self care routine. To take care of body & spirit!

I am definitely appreciating your Sabbat videos with the history. I have been new to being in the witch community since mid last year and this is my first complete Wheel of the Year (Samhain 2021 to Samhain 2022) where I’m just learning about what each Sabbat is about. So I definitely appreciate your knowledge. I also just enjoy your lighthearted and fun videos. I also appreciate the fact that you were super transparent with us. So many KZbinrs show their homes and it seems like their homes are Always neat and organized, unless that’s what the channel is truly about. So I’m glad I’m not the only one with a chaotic at times looking house. Haha! And the *unmentionables* was a very brave thing to show. Haha! Thanks for the disclosure as I had my toddlers watching with me on what Imbolc is all about. 👍 Anyways, I’m loving the channel and appreciate your hard work, especially being a busy mom of 2 young kids in your household. In Spain, women have their own festival on February 5th. Traditionally, it was the only time they enjoyed time off from household duties around the year. Decluttering and downsizing can be such a daunting task honestly, especially if you own a lot of stuff. I live with my fiance and our two cats in a small two bedroom, one and a half bath trailer and it's insane. We would probably have more space if we were properly utilizing storage bins or something to that affect but we aren't and it's getting out of hand. Wanted to have gotten the yearly cleaning out of the way last week, we even took off for it, but we only managed to deep clean our bathrooms and we rested the rest of the time. We both work 10-13 hrs a day so, not much time left for cleaning except daily upkeep.

Oh I feel your pain 😅❤️ I will definitely do a video on cleansing soon where I incorporate some of the dealing with mess things. Luckily I do not hoard - it is more of a time issue haha I just throw everything up there and then forget it is there 😂 once a year I then throw everything out again and make it pretty.

I've gotten my first cold in 3 years this week and we've also gotten a nice blizzard going on where I am lol looks like this year's Imbolc is going to be very lowkey for me and part of that lowkey, coziness is this video! Thank you for all the love you put into it

Thank you! I’ve been looking forward to this! I love the Schneeglöckchen (did I spell that correctly?) on the thumbnail-it is the best harbinger of spring. Here in the Northeast U.S, the snowdrops I planted in the autumn are under a blanket of snow we know they are just waiting to emerge.

You did spell it correctly!! 😄💪 I just love when the first spring blossoms start to appear 🌱

Oh youre just like me, i have a junk drawer, and junk everywhere, but my living space is tidy(ish) lol, as a crafter and a hoarder (sirnamr hourd, pronounced hoard) it'd definitely in the name 😂😂😂 I loved your video, i will be doing what i can to celebrate Imbolc this year. As a British Pagen I've been extremely laxed over the years, but im determined to get back into my herbalism, witchery and celebrations. Thank you for your insight and being an amazing person ❤❤❤❤

Was just thinking I needed to sort something for Imbolc. Well timed x The nods to old Irish is making my Irish roots happy :D Please check your steps to the attic space! How much they moved when stood on was making me very anxious!

Yaih - hope you found some inspiration here 💓 hahah yeees, the stairs are 200 years old 😅 as are all the old beams in my house and to be honest, it makes me really nervous. Every time my washing machine goes into spin circle the entire house shakes 😬

@@Thewitchescookery :D:D Perks of old properties I guess! :'D Reminds me of the old washing machine at the garage I do a bit of welding at. Sounds like it's taking everything with it !

This makes absolute sense. We have bunnies right now, our goats will be kidding soon. We just got them in their kidding stalls yesterday and we have been demolishing the kitchen (FINALLY!!!) and are getting is ready for its face lift! It all ties in with imbolc for sure!

I love the mess vulnerability! hahah! I love the whole thing but that really made me laugh. I’ve been intensely drawn to lighting candles, cleaning and gardening this past week! Somehow found your channel and had no idea what imbolc was. Feeling excited about it, thank you! Just subscribed!

This video is almost a year old when I'm watching, but I just found your channel, and am loving it. I also put things on my stair case thinking they will somehow get put away properly, lol.
