I have coarse wavy mid length hair I guess. I'm learning all this stuff from you since a couple of months and I'm still not sure what hair I have lol. But it seems my hair likes mousse and anti frizz conditioner so that's why I think it's coarse. I plan to mix the mousse with a salt and see what happens :D

Loving this information, I have had the hardest time figuring out how to style my hair and what products I need to do the job. I feel like this is extra hard for men to be informed. I noticed you don’t have a lot of information on shampoos and conditioners though, will there be a segment coming on this? Thanks for all you do! You don’t even know how helpful you’ve been!
@Siberius- Жыл бұрын
Shampoo and conditioners is the same for men and women. Though if your hair is like medium men's length, you just don't need a conditioner (since your natural oils will do the job). You're not supposed to condition your scalp, women with long hair will just condition the ponytail section. Disclaimers... if your hair is very curly/kinky, you'll likely need conditioner even with quite short hair (oils have a lot of trouble reaching the ends of the hair in that situation). Also there are such things as like, washing one's scalp with conditioner (co-wash), so there's always a bunch of different things people do, and sometimes it works great for them.

I like the look the sea salt sprays give but by the time I've used enough to get the effect I want the smell of the product is just overwhelming. I got really good results from making my own like you suggested in another video. I used a mix of sea salt and epsom salt and a fragrance free conditioner I added to it.

my hair when flat goes to about the tip of my nose and i can make it look fine with the messy/foward look while it is damp. however, it cannot hold, obviously, once dry. would a sea salt spray with a great hold be enough? or will i need some sort of mousse. i’m trying to keep a matte and dry look while it stays above my eyes and it looks like it has volume. also, does sea salt spray affect the softness of hair?
