Great video Mandy! I ordered the It Cosmetics brush set! Yay! I am super excited to have your favorite budding brush. One of my favorite blushes is from Laura Gellar. It’s the shade tropic hues. My favorite Beauty Counter is guava. I am just starting to dip my toes into the Jane Iredale blushes. So, so good!

My alltime favorite blush is It Cosmetics powder stain blush in Peony. I've had the same one for 7 years!!! Bought a backup. I've bought sooo many creams and powders but nothing gives me the look of juicy hydrated cheeks while staying on all day working in the salon! So easy to work with because although it is a stain, it is in powder form. Has a beautiful sheen as well. I can't tell u how many blushes I've bought and nothing comes close. Well maybe the Dior nude luminizer but I absolutely love the It cosmetics for so many years.

Mandy, you have to try the Honest Beauty cream blushes!! You can get them at Walgreens or Amazon. The pink poppy shade and the peach shade. Oh my gosh! They are perfection. I use my fingers to apply and a sponge to blend out. They last all day and sink into the skin in such a beautiful way. I don’t even have to set them

It really is amazing that some cream blushes just disappear. I can’t understand how that happens, but it often does for me. And, yeah, what’s the point?? I think my favorite blush so far is the Buxom primer infused blush in Dolly. I’m impressed by how long it lasts and how well that shade looks on my medium olive skin.

Some formulas definitely aren't as good as others. The Kjaer Weis and Fit Glow ones I showed seem to last really well on my skin. :)

Do you apply blurred buff by bare minerals after setting powder or before since it's a cream? Do you apply it like a bronzer or on apples of cheek? Thank you!

It's actually a powder finish that is a bit bouncy so I use it after powder. And I use it as a blush so on the apples of the cheek. :)

Regarding the IT Cosmetics blush brush - you've said in the past that this is the best one even though there are similar ones available by IT. How does it compare to the #4 Heavenly Luxe French Boutique brush? Also the Jane Iredale Contour Brush? Is the JI better for foundation?

Hey Anita...I do feel like the Jane is better for cream products because it's a bit denser. I think the one I use is very similar to the other IT Blush brush in the softness...it's just a bit bigger in size. :)

At 47, I still don’t get the hype over blush. I know some blushes are just downright horrid. They look like your stereotypical grandma blush from yesteryear. But I would never be able to differentiate between a $10 blush and an $80 blush on the cheeks. I think I have 5 blushes. I bought one from Physicians Formula and received the other 4 in beauty boxes. And cream blushes are even more confusing to me. I just put some lipstick on the back of my hand, sometimes mix it with an itty-bitty bit of foundation, go in with a brush and that’s my cream blush. Now bronzers on the other hand...

I think it depends on how you apply the blush as to how it looks. Where you apply and how you apply make all the difference, and I feel like as we age we need more color in our faces. Blush plays a huge part in making sure we don't look washed out, and that we have our natural flush. And lipsticks can make a great cream blush, but I love traditional cream blushes because they look more natural on the skin; blend in better and don't leave any kind of powdery texture while still adding the needed color to the face.
