I have dry heavily lined undereyes and struggled for a long time with this but now I hydrate the undereye really well, put on dior concealer and blend it out with a dampened (slightly) bk beauty precision powder brush. Im in awe how good this works!! Give it a try

Hi Mandy. Love these choices. Being 54, I'd gravitate towards (if I had to choose) Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Hourglass, Bare Minerals, maybe Marc Jacobs or Fenti or Make Up Forever. The expensive brands might be the best but I'm reluctant to pay double for Charlotte Tilbury, Jane Iredale, Chantici or that other one. Can't spell it, lol .... Now that my makeup is at an obscene amount, and the country and world is a wreck, I can't in good conscience buy any more. I'm trying to purge a lot to foster serenity and peace. I love your channel because I feel that I get an honest review and introduce me to a product that is intelligent and right for me. But yeah, just right now I'm trying to simplify. 😍 God bless you 🙏🏼

It’s so interesting that you include Bobbi Brown. I am 61 and I was an exclusive”Bobbi” girl since my mid-30’s. I stopped wearing the brand years ago when many of my favorite products were discontinued. I haven’t bought anything in years, but I agree the matte bronzers are the best. I recently became interested in the line again.

What a great video Mandy! I just recently bought some Jane Iredale products after watching a couple of your videos using products from the brand and the ones purchased are indeed amazing. In my growing collection are the Glow Time full coverage BB cream, Just kissed lip and cheek stain, Beyond matte lip stain, Pure lash extender, Great shape contour kit, enlighten plus concealer, Pure and simple makeup kit (this is the item that started the shopping spree. :D) and I will be adding other products. I am 53, so makeup needs and wants have changed. Foundation products have to work well over my favorite tinted sunscreen and I don't want a heavy, cakey look, but just enough product to enhance my own skin. The BB cream works beautifully over sunscreen and only a very little bit evens out my skin, without accentuating pores or fine lines. I set it in my "T zone" with the little bit of the mineral powder foundation and the end result is flawless looking skin. The just kissed lip and cheek stain is perfect for days when I want some color on my lips, but don't want to wear full on lipstick. The beyond matte lip stain is gorgeous and I want all the colors. The concealer is hands down the favorite in my makeup collection. A teeny tiny bit is enough to cover darkness, but doesn't accentuate the natural aging going on under my eyes. The lash extender will be a repeat buy from now until eternity. My once full lashes have grown a wee bit sparse with age and this product makes them look longer and fuller. I have tried it under several mascaras and it just works great. The contour kit can also double as an eyeshadow palette and the formula is fabulous and the simple kit started it all. Absolutely loving all the Jane Iredale products purchased and will all the different brands in my collection, feel it really hits the mark with more "seasoned" skin with regards to enhancing rather than covering or accentuating. The formulas are sublime and they are worth the cost. I do have some of the other products you mentioned, the C.T. Pillow talk palette is one of my favorites and adore the Bobbi Brown gel liners and eyeshadow sticks. Didn't mean for this to be a book, I am just so, so happy and excited with the Jane Iredale products and when I'm excited I talk, or type a lot. :D

I love Mac products. I know what Specific products I like, colors, etc. I got the Beautylish lucky bag this year and in it has an Hourglass blush - Incandescent Electra. It’s absolutely stunning and I see that moving into a Holy Grail category for me. I like the Bare Minerals concealer - I got it from your recommendation on the no makeup look video you did. I really enjoy the ColorScience under eye product. I only use L’Oreal’s Voluminous lash primer and Lash Paradise mascara for my upper lashes, and Mac’s Gigablack on my lower lashes - also one of your recommendations! I really enjoy Urban Decay’s liner pencils - I love glitter and they’re beautiful. Thanks for this video, but I can’t believe Zeus was so close yet so far away. I thought for sure we’d see him! ❤️❤️

Bobbi Brown seems less popular these days but they make a ton a of great staple products. The illuminating bronzer in Antigua is my holy grail bronzer. It brings my skin alive! I also love the eyeshadow sticks and blushes as well.

Great video! I'd pick Charlotte Tilbury as my one brand because her makeup products work consistently very well for me. Bobbi Brown left the brand a few years ago. She has started another makeup brand called Jones Road which I haven't tried. I have found when Estee Lauder gobbles up - I mean buys - a small brand they somehow manage to change what made it special IMO. You look gorgeous! Zeus is so cute! My Lucy does the same thing. She HAS to be in my lap when I watch your videos.

I'd go with 3 of your 5 (CT, Chantecaille and Jane Iredale). Jane Iredale is so underrated. The makeup has such great skincare benefits, so the price is justified (same goes for Chantecaille). I feel like people usually discover Jane Iredale when their skin is more mature

I was a little surprised I didn't see Beautycounter on here? Are you still using that line/still a consultant? This would be so tough, as I like several lines too & I tend to mix & match - my absolute favorite would have to be Jane Iredale (which I've been using for 20yrs - was introduced to it when I was a Nurse at a Plastic Surgeon's office - most Plastic Surgeons & Dermatologists recommend JI), next would be certain, but not all products from Bobbi Brown, MAC, Lancome, GloSkin, FitGlow -- I do love some of the powders from Hourglass & Charlotte T. Great video and tough to narrow down

Hi just want to tell U that the eyeshadow you're wearing just makes your eyes pop, so pretty. I have a question I hope U can answer which is re the 1st blushers U showed, I have noticed that people hold up brown blushers as blushers, when to me they look like bronzers. It's confusing to me when ordering, I mean U can wear what U want but it's just something I was wondering about. Bless🤗

Thanks Ida! The brown blush I held up is indeed marketed and labeled a blush. It could be a bronzer, but only on specific skintones, and I often like to use a neutral bronze shade as a blush, especially in the summer, when I want everything to blend in and give me an overall bronzy look. It's also great when you just can't figure out whether to wear a cool or warm toned blush with your look on a certain day. :)

Viseart for eyes hands down for me. Love at first swipe. Some others...Bare Minerals, Lancôme, Charlotte Tilbury and Chanel. If you have the Bare Minerals loose powder blush called Beauty pull it out again. It is the most gorgeous blush of all time. My face brightens and glows with that blush. I have a zillion and that is number one for sure! Why it does not get much attention I do not understand.
