I love your channel, nearly as much as I love chocolate. I went onto Amazon and ordered the silicone pet treat mat. I'll have a go at making a lamp shade probably doing two and uv resin them together. I see it in my mind, which is always a good thing. Funny thing, anything 'silicone' in my house is never used for cooking always resin. Well I'm off to binge watch more of your uploads

Anna, thank you so much for your kind and supportive words, to read such messages means a lot to me. I wish I was one of those people who could have a set routine for my videos but sometimes the ideas take so long to actually put together they consume all my time and then the video editing takes ages too but I’m glad to know that people notice when it has been a while. Shuffles off to check her molds... Louise, you.are.a.certified.genius! I love that pencil rack, the plant stand...the candle holder...everything! I even have that very jar mold! Now...if only we could get jesmonite in the States. 😕 I don't have a love for plaster or concrete, as it's so much less durable (and so much uglier!) than jesmonite. Back to binging on your videos. 😊
@LouiseSingletonCreations2 жыл бұрын
Aw thank you very much! Have you tried Stonecast plaster? I’m not sure they sell that in the states either but I have seen alternatives on Amazon.com if you do a search for strong plaster or even stonecast plaster you should find them. They are not on the same level as Jesmonite but pretty close and a LOT cheaper.

@@LouiseSingletonCreations Yes I do. It is definitely both good and bad, depending on the day! I have sat and stared at a project or reno for hours building it in my mind and finding where I may run into issues, or puzzling out how to work around an issue that came up. I was diagnosed with ADHD last year (at 33) and then with OCD thought patterns, so I can get “stuck” on a project, and even when I’m so frustrated and want to walk away, I can’t because I can’t stop thinking about the project (not implying anything towards you, just explaining how my brain is wired). On the flip side, being able to look at materials and products and use them in completely different ways then they are intended, even with the professionals telling me that’s not what they’re meant for (art supplies mostly, but also salvaged reno supplies), usually end up being the coolest projects when done. I look forward to watching your past videos and all future ones now that I’ve found your channel!! It is inspiring and I love witnessing your thought process and immense creative genius.

I love your ideas. But, I hate that you use the red plastic cups that will take forever to decompose in landfills. Yes, I know that we are resin artists dealing in a ton of plastic I just wish more of us thought about the consumables we use.

Thank you and thank you also for your honest feedback. Although I do use the cups again multiple times I do agree that they are bad for the planet.
