My sneaker collection is nothing to scoff at, and I ride the hype train now and then... but credit where due: Sketchers makes some pretty great leather boots/shoes, and I also work out and work in sketchers. Mad comfy and most models cater to wide feet.

I work at a sneaker store and I have wore almost all nike shoes that cost around 70€. NONE of them were as good as the skechers I wear almost everyday! To get an ACTUALLY comfortable nike pair of shoes for work/workout you have to pay 100€ at least. Buy and an 70€ skecher and an 70€ nike pair of shoes and youll see that the nike is very overpriced for no reason. Just because nike is a more famous brand, it doesnt mean its better. Dont even get me started with adidas shoes.

This video made me laugh my socks off! Skechers have proved time and again that it is the other brands that are the rip-offs. Nike and Adidas etc are overpriced to pay for their advertising and sponserships. Most people wear designer brands just for the name but people wear Skechers for their superior comfort. I've some skechers skech air that I've used to the gym and on daily activities (work,high school etc) and they still look like new and perform great.I bought them in 2013 when they came out.Is that way before Nike introduced Nike Air Vapor max?I think my skechers are worth the price.They look great,perform great,are cheaper than Nikes or Adidas.They just don't have that beautiful curvy logo of Nike or those three stripes of Adidas which I don't care that much.Those are not a primary shoes.No sport shoe has ever lived that long with such a heavy usage.No air bubbles have broken.They even survived the heat of a burning cigarette while I was attending a concert.

Hardly a revolution, no other brand bothers with memory foam insoles. It's pointless in a shoe, as it only feels comfortable for the first hour or so, after that it molds to your foot and you don't feel it as much. Also memory foam is notoriously bad for heat regulation.

I know nothing about sneakers except that I'm not rich and when my friend was donning some really nice shoes, and I found out just how comfortable the were, I bought some. D-Lites from Skechers. I never looked back and only bought Skechers for 30 years now. But now I live in Turkey and must be very careful about knockoffs, so I went looking for an official Skechers web page when I kept running into the same question over and over....which was "Does Nike own Skechers?" Many manufacturers do this. They own both the high-end and cheaper-end of any product so that they don't lose money to factories making something cheaper.
