The Nike Air Presto debuted in the year 2000, yet the shoe still remains ahead of the curve in both sneaker design and performance. Why is this so? If you look at the History of the Nike Presto you will be surprised to find that it was designed by the brother of Tinker Hatfield, Tobie Hatfield! This shoe took over 4 years to design! It's crazy to me how the Hatfield brothers created two shoes that had radically different sizing for optimal fit. Size up for huaraches and size down for prestos (not really, but you get what i mean).

I do remember Prestos disappearing fairly quickly upon release. I didn't initially like the shoes back in 2000 but now I am big fan. I remember that angry chicken commercial too 😂 Acronym Prestos were cool but Virgil did such a great job on his take on these. Lol. I got clowned for rocking my dark-blue & grey prestos with a corn-flower yellow plaid shirt to "Family day in the park", a local summer jam. Needless to say, fashion wasn't my strong suit in 2001...but I had some shoes fit to dip in if them firesticks popped. Basically, Prestos are dope. David Riley Thanks man!! It takes us about 7-10 days to put out a video like this. Sometimes more. Cause we have to write the script, research, record and edit. Theres only 2 of us and we work full time! Haha Hopefully eventually when this goes full time we can commit to more uploads. We use storyblocks and youtube for the clips. I purchased my first pain in around 2014 in all black for work. They were super comfortable and did not have the runner’s toe which I am not fond of. Just me no judgement. So, I ordered a white pair which were absolutely beautiful. The only problem I had was keeping them clean and keeping them from turning a light yellow color if I used bleach. Here we are in 2024 and I am searching for a new pair for spring. I just left a Nike Outlet store and they did not have them or anything similar. Online I go. Wonder why Nike never upgraded this series. Maybe a no patent leather toe. Were they poor sellers? Well, I would buy 3 pairs at a clip if I could. We all like what we like. Nice video bro. Nacho you gotta cover the Nike free's. My older brother was one of the stress testers for them when he was was in high school. That Immediately made me into a sneaker head, when I was 10. He literally ran through the soles in the shoe in one day, and they retested the material of the soles for him 3-4 times.
