Lol, I hate Taxidermy on boots.. Couldn't agree more! I'm partial to the nearly next to last Skull style on that Old Gringo boot ie: Day of the dead. Kinda get that Jamaican spooky Voodo vibe. ☠💀

Bick 4 is great for just about all leathers, including exotics.

Call me old fashion but cowboy/cowgirl boots are for the working person not a fashion show. They are meant for working not a cat walk. Yes, one can have a pair of simple dress boots so the key word is simplicity.

Ed Hardy ruined the whole skulls motif for me. I remember when that was initially trending, and it gave off an incredible douchebagy vibe. If I were going for spooky, or graduating to downright creepy, I would like to see some Ed Gein inspired cowboy boots. I’d love to rock a patchwork of human skin. It would make an awkward, but intriguing conversation piece perhaps about anti-exotic skin.
