Top 5 Star Hotel in Seoul: JW Marriott Seoul (Gangnam)

Hi guys! Here's the first video in my hotel review series. It's the JW Marriott at Express Bus Terminal. All in all, 5 stars and an excellent place to stay. That hotel looks huge! Sometimes the better level is cost effective if you get free meals and snacks - especially as a family of four.

Another great video. Looks as if your family enjoyed the time in the Marriott. The purpose of the Executive floor is primarily for business travelers, who need to maximise n their time, that is why the breakfast buffet is small and limited number of rooms can access that facility. Rest of the hotel will usually eat in the main restaurant on a different floor. Watching this gives me itchy feet I want to travel to Korea again next year. best get those savings going.

Great video! I'm surprised to see you were able to get a standard room for 4 occupants. Most hotels that I tried to reserve in Seoul only accommodated 3 guests per room and I had to resort to getting a larger room or a suite for my family of 4.

Thank you! I will sometimes call in advance and ask if I can fit 4, and tell them the age of my kids. Even if the website says you can only book for 2 or 3 people, I’ve found that they will often allow small children as long as you can all sleep in the existing beds without adding a rollaway.

Just came back from trip to Korea with my hubby. I wanted to show him the traditional sides of Korea, so we stayed at Hanok. He did not enjoy that. haha! Next time we'll try JW Marriott in Seoul and show him the luxurious side of Korea.

Lol!!! The traditional side... I have experienced that too unintentionally with an airbnb and a so called "resort" on the beach about 3 hours from seoul. Now I tend to stick to bigger branded international hotels if I can afford it.
