I think EA's game is worse on singleplayer and mod availability but it's fun as hell online think bf2 2017 is more fun to me but 2005 is better on most of the other things

My top 5 mods of 2018 are: 1. Battlefront II: Mandalorians (included 5 Mandalorian eras) 2. Star Wars: Homefront DEMO (released yesterday) 3. Battles of the Clone Wars 4. Star Wars The Clone Wars Revived 5. Star Wars A New Frontier MY Honorable Mentions: Battlefront Ultimate Commander, Republic At Conflict 3.0 You might notice that this list has only one of your top 5 in it. That is because Battlefront Ultimate Commander, though great continues to have problems for me when I tried to launch certain game modes & eras. Battlefront 3 Legacy was really good but on older computer could barely run at a consistent FPS for me. The Remastered project mostly focused on making the OG maps better, they are great but I am not much of a stock map fan, I prefer custom maps and rarely play them unless they have era mods. Naboo Assault on Theed is definitely great but has many bugs which includes name localization and floating icons. A solid list overall though and hopefully others share their top 5 mods!

Didn't really fall in love with ultimate commander... As the mod tells you in-game they upped the accuracy for the enemy AI which is fine, but with so many enemies and such a clusterfuck, the only viable strategy quickly becomes the droppable shields and minigun. If you get the chance to play as a hero, don't bother. You'll go down in 2 seconds even if you're blocking. Which is realistic! but it makes heroes somewhat useless.

A mod for 21:9 would be sick. The game supports wide screen resolutions (3440x1440 in my case) but the hud stretches out so bad. The blasts from the blasters come out like an inch above the reticle

what i would like to see is a planet, and Legoin match mod, meaning if your on Utupo, you get Obi wan and the 212, or if your on Kashyyk you get the 41st with Yoda, Luminara, or Faluchia you get the 327th with Aalya Secura, i dont have the names in front of me so my spelling is off but i think you get my point

Hey, can someone help? I recently got a PC and got classic BF2 on it, and tried to download mods. I’ve been able to play smaller ones like single map mods, but any bigger ones (e.g. Clone wars extended, The battles of the clone wars) It doesn’t work. I select the map option in the game but I don’t see any modes. I know others have had this problem, and they say to download the unofficial 1.3 patch. So I did, but no change. I’ve tried everything I can think of for a guy who’s not great with computers.
