If you're referring to the collar gap, that's nigh impossible to get rid of unless you go bespoke. The fit is on point in the other major areas but he mentioned he had a tailor tweak it, which is to be expected.

Shoulder slope is not taken into account on some of these MTM but thats why they offer you a tailored credit, so they can reimburse you for it when you take it to a good tailor. As for the middle button, perhaps he choose the super tight fight style?

Three things: 1. I own several shirts from Indochino. Not perfect in quality, but the fit is amazing. 2. Their stuff is *always* on-sale. The promo discount is essentially the real price. 3. Get measured in their physical store if you can. I did.

Aaron, you do a nice job on these videos and have been super successful doing so. However my friend I respectfully disagree, this does not represent a perfectly fitted suit. The strap and collar need shortening to rest cleanly around the neck and even when you wear a close fitted garment it shouldn’t have pulls or puckering when buttoned.

Lots of people on the web love to say the phrase "Fit is King", well I'm here to tell you that fit doesn't mean spit to me, and that's why I purchased my made to measure suit from Indochino. Great pointers. I'd just like to add my two cents and remind all you gentleman to follow each company's measurement guidelines as they're gonna be different. Don't just assume they'll be measured the same way. Also, a company's transparency as to their production and sources are usually good indicators of an eye for quality and respect for the livelihood of their employees.

So, let's see. The suits from the link are $800. They are "MTM" so it means that they have a xillion suits in a warehouse for all sizes and they might alter a little bit here and there before they ship it to you. You get it and you still need to spend $50 to $100 at the tailor (if he can get it to fit you very good) so you have a decent suit. So $900 for a MTM from the Internet that can look good if you measure yourself right. A bespoke suit starts at $1,200, is done by a professional and will fit you 100%. The fabric will be a lot better and you will have hundreds of choices compared to 10 online. Is $300 that much of a difference in price to not get a real suit? Your choice I guess.

I live in Canada in fact. I can get a bespoke suit in a wool 120's from Dormeuil or VBC for about $1,200 yes. Of course, it will be very basic. Getting into the $1,800 will get you something a lot better. In your $2,500, you get something fantastic. :-)

They use set points when they take your measurements. When the suit comes in, they offer free alterations to make sure the suit fits you well. However, i must have gone to the store at least half a dozen times (if not more) for alterations to my suits and it never came close to fitting well. Even the way the suits are cut didn't seem right to me either. If you have a keen eye and some experience with suits, you will easily be able to make out at least a few areas in Alpha's suit that clearly show it wasn't made right. I wont knock their costumer service, they were always pleasant and accommodating - but the product and their workmanship is lacking. I've had much better experience buying off the rack suits at my size which i then have altered at my tailor. Mind you, i actually went into the indochino stores to have my measurements taken and for the alterations - a lot of people don't have that option and they get it done online through their website.

Apart from the collar area, the rise and hip of the pants seem off to me. The pants are shown only for a few seconds in the video so i can't be too sure but from what i see, it would definitely bother me. They're not tapered/fitting as well as i would personally like. Maybe he likes it that way and is okay with it.

If you want to go to a store for a good suit I've always had the best of service from mens warehouse I cant recommend them enough. I'm lucky however I'm a perfect 44 chest and 34 waist all they had to do was take in the sleeves and the legs a few inches but they took all my measurements and were very polite. obviously if you go to one your experience may differ but I've been to a few different ones and had a wonderful experience.

That suit jacket looks like the same fit that I had when I tried on a cheap size 36S jacket that’s ‘regular fit’. Tailored or slim fit is best because your jacket looks like there’s extra room.

Alpha, 2 great hacks you forgot. 1. Always buy 2 sets of trousers. They wear out twice as fast as your Jacket goes out of style. 2. The one great thing (only) about divorce is that when hubby leaves, his ex wife puts his $4000.00 Armani jacket on EBAY for $50 bucks. Grab it and have your tailor make you two sets of trousers to match the Armani Jacket. Sweet! It may not be the exact material, but in most cases Navy pinstripe is Navy Pinstripe. If you've got the Jacket, they'll find the material.

What about tips for renting a suit? I rented a suit for my brother's wedding about 2 years ago and it was slightly off. They did measure my body to get the exact measurements. But being 5'7 I just felt like the entire suit wasn't made for my body. Got alot of compliments about how handsome i looked from family members. But still if i wanted a suit, i really wouldn't wear it alot. Just to weddings or funerals mostly maybe church if I wanted to dress nicely. I haven't tried Indochino, but they don't seem very reputable to me. I heard about them through a podcast offer for "50% off any premium Indochino suit." I thought that this was an amazing deal and went to check it out. From what I saw it seems like their suits are ALWAYS on sale for "50% off" even without a special discount code. This makes me think they're just selling $300 suits and claiming that they normally cost $600 or more. Maybe I'm way off, but that just seems like shady sales tactics 101. Black Lapel gets my money, they made a suit for me that fits better than the one you're wearing ;D

Jacket is actually not fitting. Gaping collar, too much movement around the neck and shoulders because it's a little too big. For a shorter man, as am I, I would not go with peak lapels too, they broaden you and make you look shorter rather than longer. I also wouldn't mix patterns. Plain shirt with patterned suit or patterned shirt with plain suit (if you want) but never both.

Dam, so much critics here. I️ ordered a premium suit from indichino last month. I’m a not a suit expert but, it was about $399. Most of the fit was right, had sleeves adjusted a bit and pants tapered a bit. It might not be the best suit in the world. But for the price, it’s a lot better then buying off the rack.

I took you're advice on the indochino suit.. You specifically said that it was made to measure .. I had a friend who was a tailor and took all of my measurements however the suit that i got specifically was not in good condition.. It was boxy and big.. I contacted indochino and they said they will give me a 75dollar for any fix ups on the suit itself but only 75 dollars.. 2 questions why such a high quality suit . was specifically made in CHINA .. the video that u made .. I can't remember what video ..because almost all of your content is about suits.. Ahm you did mention that the fabric was italian fabric but u never told you're viewers that is was being made in china .. Yes and this is a big concern for me..
