@breezysurplus4 жыл бұрын
I print on these using DTG. The dyes don't affect the print at all. I don't think they would with screen printing either as long as you have a good white base

Ethan Miller so I print myself (I have a Brother GTX machine) and in order to make sure my prints are how I want them, the color mode needs to be CMYK (this is the color mode the printer uses so having the file the same mode ensures that the color will match) and the minimal resolution or DPI needs to be at least 300. Other than that, have the art scaled to the exact size you want and you should be good to go!

What's up? Been watching your videos. What are the best WHITE or lighter t shirt vintage blanks? Maybe an eggshell color or something. Would you still recommend the same shirts? I'm going to look through some of these options to see if they have a nice white vintage tee but a video on that specifically would be cool. - Cope

Thanks for the comment! I would just recommend doing exactly what you said and just checking out the specific blanks you're interested in from this video. Pretty much all of them offer white, natural, cream etc as colors options.💯

How can I get these shirts printed with my custom design? Where do I go to?
@FULLERMOE4 жыл бұрын
I always suggest printing locally. Google is your friend! Just look for local screen printers in your area and start getting quotes based on what you want.

Comfort colors 1717 are great tees. I just wish I can find them for $5 without a reg bus acc. Anybody know where?

definitely interested in getting a sample on a few of these, vintage style tshirts are my favorite in both comfort and fit + faded black is just perfect. I noticed they’re “wholesale” price. Just wondering are those prices only when buying in very large quantity? I’m screenprinting myself and still working out the kinks in it. Mainly doing it as a hobby and for my own tshirts or for friends and family, is there anyway to get these shirts in small quantity for a similar price? Looking to spend under $6 each for sure. I’m in the LA area so I’d appreciate if anyone knows a local business

I think if you only need a small quantity, it's going to be right around the prices I mentioned. They probably don't start giving any price breaks until you get into buying by the case. That being said, I definitely recommend reaching out to S&S Activewear. They were really fast in getting back to me with any questions I had, so I'm sure they can help you out as well. 💯 Appreciate you watching!

I have a question, I’m someone who wants to just design shirts for myself and maybe sell them in the future. What would you recommend me buying a heat presser or should I use iron to apply photos when making my vintage tees?
@FULLERMOE4 жыл бұрын
No idea, because I don't print any shirts myself. Might just have to do your own research on that one. Sorry! Thanks so much for watching.

Definitely don’t iron, and tbh I’d go screen printing because heat presses create pretty low quality prints only downside to screen printing is you’ll have to practice a lot and probably will have to have a ton of paintd
