Tbh I totally agree with number 1, seriously Green Arrow fighting Batman villains (Ra's al Ghul, Deathstroke, Talia al ghul) and Batman is supposed to be the dark brooding hero, with a sidekick and a wheelchaired tech support, not the Green Arrow, who should have stayed with Black Canary, who Arrowverse killed off.

Jason D. Phoenix They are now. The next crossover will bring in Batwoman (Kate Kane). Which I believe will lead into a Batwoman series. And to answer the question as to why Batman isn’t in the Arrowverse, I believe it has to do with the movies. Yes there’s Superman in Supergirl and well Flash, but that was the reason that Slade/Deathstroke was taken out of Arrow and they’d probably do the same with Batman if I had to guess.

Season 1 was great, season 2 was excellent, season 3 was good but a little inconsistent in it's tone and story, season 4 was pretty Average at best and gringworthy (mostly in the second half) at worst, Season 5 was just short of a masterpiece of a season and though 8 episodes season 6 has been a pretty good follow up to season 5

The Black Canary story is Arrow's real and lasting crime and failure. I was expecting to go on this amazing journey of watching Dinah Lance go from average attorney to badass metahuman superhero. Instead her title is treated like nothing more than a series of knockoff Robins. Now it's like the universe is trying to play damage control with both a new unneeded Black Canary along with a new Earth-2 Dinah Lance. Should've just finished what it started with Dinah Lance.

Greg Caldwell I mean in the comics it's a title that's passed down, as well. Just in the opposite way. Dinah Drake (newest one) is the original in the comics, and she's Dinah Laurel's mom.

Bob Pickleson All that I know but Sara Lance was already serving as the original Dinah Drake adaptation in the show anyway and the mantle had already been passed down to Laurel making everything Dinah Drake does later seem like a knockoff of either Sara or Laurel. The story wasnt about simply passing down a mantle, it was about family legacy and Drake isn't family and didn't even know Sara or Laurel making her actually look a bit stupid for taking on a name because some strange guy told her she should. Killing off Black Canary just as she was getting good only to immediately replace her with a knockoff also didn't do the show any favors considering it already had a bad reputation over how it writes women. Then the show actually had the audacity to act as though Laurel had been this amazing and fullfilled superhero when she actually had just gotten started and wasn't even given a grand heroic death.

Gregory Caldwell exactly. It’s so dumb. Laurel became black canary in season 3, she could have been in central city working on a case (which actually makes sense!) and then given the Powers after the accelerator explosion. Then she would go out in secret and fight off people. Then her and Green arrow would meet and he falls for Black Canary who he later learns to actually be Laurel. Just saying arrow knows what they did and they know it ruined the show. The three best seasons of the show (1,2,5) are the best, you know why because their isn’t any olicity drama. And if they want olicity that don’t have to do it in a way that makes us hate it so much

Let's start with Felicity there is many reasons why she is a bad character but theses are my top 2 reasons why , before Ollie died he wanted Felicity to reunite William with Mia so they can grow up together but she never did that that was the last thing Ollie asked her to do and she couldn't even do it . She embarrassed him at iris and Barry's reception all Felicity broke off the engagement I understand why but when they get back together again Oliver wanted to marry her again when they were at the reception and Felicity had to yell ' I don't want to marry you Oliver ' she could have said it quietly to Ollie but she had to yell at him he loves her so much and she doesn't deserve any of it but he still loves her and all she can do is be the negative one in the relationship . Iris , I didn't have a problem with her in the first 2 seasons but once she became Barry's girlfriend she thought that she was so important and they just needed her to join the team but she isn't even useful they could have left her as Barry's girlfriend but even then I don't think she fitted in the show that way in every movie and comic Barry and Iris have this amazing connection but in this show Barry's connection isn't with her I think that Barry shouldn't have her as a wife but have Caitlin . Yes Caitlin and Ronnie were the best couple but they killed him off she did say in the early seasons that she needed to fid someone new to get crazy for we all knew she was talking about Barry and their friend ship is so amazing and they can talk about anything . Once they started to make Iris important I stopped watching the show I only watched clips they show too much of her once Barry goes in to the speed force . Those are my reasons to why I dislike Iris and Felicity there are way more but theses are my main reasons why .

Felicity complains to Ovilever about everything he does, like with his son. He didn't tell her for good reason and got angry over sending him away to keep him safe, even though it had nothing to do with her. Iris was fine but got so annoying, she became a main character for no reason and was so boring. Also the "we are the Flash" thing was stupid. In other word Laurel should have been with Oliver because they had more chemistry (even Cupid did) with Oliver. Then Caitlen (I'm not sure if that's spelt right) and Barry should have been together. They just made them both unbearable

In the comics, though, Oliver's sister was later known as "Speedy." Even in the show, when trying to get Roy's attention a few times in season 2 Oliver does call him Speedy; only a few times.

Sonic Badass season 4 was the pinnacle of Arrow as a show and the height of all Tv entertainment! We got to see the bad a** Oliver Queen from the first 3 season turn into a stay at home wife for felicity who cooked meals and has brunch with her mom. And the down to earth gritty story telling get turned into a watered down show about mysticism with snarky one liners. And the flash backs omg from mercenaries and super soldiers to hill Billy’s and discount drug farms yep that’s evolutionary writing if ever I saw it. So the next time you want to talk bs about season 4 remember what I told you here.

kaledov It’s still one of the laziest seasons ever. Thankfully, season 5 was much better. Season 4 had some good parts, Sara comes back and that’s how she joins Legends, Constantine shows for 1 episode, Thea’s progress since her death. Flaws: Laurel dies? Really? Should’ve killed Felicity instead, would’ve make sense. After everything Oliver has been through and losing the girl of her dreams was a bad move. Making Darhk invincible for too damn long or too soon was also something people didn’t like.

In "The Longbow Hunters" trilogy from the 80s, Oliver was a darker person like you see in the show. As well, it's one of few comic series before the show where he wears a hood and not a hat; his suit looked a lot like it did in Season 1 of "Arrow." However, he still has the facial hair in "The Longbow Hunters," unlike the show.

The biggest offenses to me are number 1(ironic considering my name on here) and number 3. A big problem in DC is that heroes not named Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman rarely stand out, by making Arrow a reflection of Batman it only enhances my point. Black Canary is one of the most important characters to the Green Arrow mythos, so doing what they have done with her character, only takes away from the real Green Arrow's character more I feel.

Honestly I stop watching Arrow this season just couldn't stomach it anymore. If I wanna watch Batman then I would watch the Dark Knight trilogy. The costume makes sense. Shado's character was changed because that wasn't the story the show wanted to tell. Roy's backstory may have been overlooked but he developed on-screen well enough. People keep bringing up the fact that Black Canary isn't with Oliver in the show but people tend to forget that Katie Cassidy and Stephen Amell weren't just a good fit, even in the beginning. Their chemistry in Season 1 was non existent (Amell had a better run with Caity "White Canary" Lotz in Season 2) and she (Katie) was constantly being requested to be replaced by another actress by the fans, which ironically, only became her avid supporters when she was killed off in Season 4. Honestly though, people loathe Felicity (I also do at times), but who else is there to pick from? As I said, Caity Lotz was the only one I could say was perfect for Amell's Oliver, and now she's on Legends.

i think point 3-5 is ok, they are just things they changed, and not things they got wrong, the hooded costume was also part of the green arrow comics, so I dont see it as something they got wrong. I think the thing they really got wrong, i agree with would be point 2, that was very very bad, they got it so wrong, olicity killed season 4 and damaged the show so badly to the point where the show might have no return, and replacing such an iconic dc couple with olicity at the same time killing off the black canary in that season really rubbed the comic book fans the wrong way. Point 1 I do understand, but alot of people fail to realise is that there is a gritty and dark storyline in the arrow comics like the longbow hunters story arc and mike drells run in the last 1980s. That period in time shows a green arrow that was gritty and gadgets and all were thrown our the window all thats left is good old fashion archery. At the same time a green arrow that was torment by the fact that he killed a man(like the man who was torturing black canary), which led to him killing his enemies at times. So yeah he wasnt always the light hearted and happy go lucky kinda guy. True brooding is more of a batman kinda thing, but people always seems to forget green arrow has that dark side to him as well. I do agree though shado and roy harper were characters that were very interesting and characters who had a lot more potential which the show failed to tap into.

The costume in the series is more like the costume from Mike Grell's Green Arrow run in the 80's. He was the first one to change the costume, gave him a hoodie instead of a hat. Grell really redefined the character, making him darker and grittier, and was also the first to make the character kill in the comics. The character (in season 1 & 2 for the most part) is really based on Grell's Green Arrow. So you see, there's really nothing that they got "wrong" with the show regarding the costume.

Also,however beeing true that G.A. is a good friend of Flash, Oliver's Best friend is Hal Jordan(they even shared a title in the comics) But since they changed the "World Finest" Superman/Batman for Clark/Ollie in Smallville...I guess everything can happen in the CW...I was even expecting Diggle to be reveled as John Stewart... But now that he's Spartan I don't think they are going to bring any Green Lantern to the show...will Felicity became Black Cannary at some point?... and why mentioning Bruce Wayne if Oliver is already takeing his place and fighting his enemies(even killing Ras!)? Flash is better. 1) Better MC: Amell is a bland, brooding, poor man’s Batman compared to his comic book counterpart. I‘ve always hated this aspect of the show because one of the reasons I like GA over Batman was because of his optimistic personality, witty humour and charisma. Barry is cringey at times, but he actually has a personality and a much better character overall. 2) Main cast are more likeable. Cisco, Wells, Joe, Caitlin, Iris>>>> Diggle, Dinah, Raw Dog, Mr Terrible and Feleshitty. 3) better overall villains: Reverse Flash> Malcom Hunter Zolomon= Slade Savitar> Ra’s Al Ghoul The Thinker> Damien Darhk Prometheus was great and on the tier of Reverse Flash and Slade. 3) Flash deals with metas with more interesting abilities than street lvl thugs like the Arrow. 4) No Olicity. Granted Iris is slowly becoming as annoying as Feleshittty 5) Flash is a lot more respectful to the source material. Arrow’s done a disserveice to Black Canary’s character. Mary Pollett Now that is just....No. Have you seen their actors off screen? To me they are basically Mulder and Scully/David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson if you have ever seen them. Their chemistry is just Wow.

Seriously what are you on and can I have some of it. Season 1 Felicity was a godsend to the Arrow program otherwise it would have been never ending grim dark without a single ray of humor. As it was, her first scene with Oliver was probably the first time both the actor and the character had a genuine smile during the series. With the right writing the Oliver Felicity relationship is quite fun to watch.

I may not be familiar with the Green Arrow comics. But for all of its faults, I love the changes they made with Slade's character. I HATED (like I hate war and Herpes) the Teen Titans version of Slade for how evil he is. Whereas with Arrow, he has more depth to him

Some of the villains in the show aren’t from Arrow Comics , the Diggle character , Arrow training Flash,The Batman like parallel on tv, Olicity , Team Arrow at least this version , lol let’s see if I’m close after watching the video.
