Sometimes I forget I'm subscribed to this channel, but then you post something and it all comes rushing back. Frankly, I'm just glad to see you post an update to know what's going on.

You know, it's weird. Every time there's a laps in uploads, longer than usual. (Say, beyond 1-2 months or so) A little war ignites in my head, as to weather I should post one of these "Update" Videos. On one hand, there's only so much editing I can do to spice up these videos. Ultimately the goal of these videos is to deliver you information to keep you informed on whats happening with the channel, as I know my irregular upload schedule is not the done thing on KZbin. On the other hand, I couldn't think of anything more boring than watching me ramble on for 15 minutes strait. And that's what frightens me. I know you can't please everyone, I know whatever I upload, some people will like it, and some people wont, and that's absolutely fine, that's what KZbin is all about and I love it. But what shies me away from making these "Update" videos, to the point where I would rather go months without posting anything, is people like yourself. Been subscribed for a long time now, always in the comments, always so supportive of every video I upload, whether it took months to produce or less than a week. The fear of disappointing/boring you (or someone like you) will always be greater than the "Need" to upload a video, to keep you all informed. So yeah, I do apologize for that, oh, and sorry about the essay XD

You're crazy for not chasing up the warranty. Typically you get upto a year but that can reasonably go up to 6 years for expensive items (which this wouldn't be classed as). Whatever you buy in the UK has to last a reasonable amount of time and even if you used it 24/7 from the day you bought it, then 8 months or so is still fuck all. Contact whoever you purchased it from and go from there. And if all else fails you publicly complain about the company on Twitter and get some people to get behind it and give your complaint some traction. You'll be surprised how quickly companies try to defuse a complaint when it starts to gain traction on Twitter. I tend to just text a couple of mates and get them to pretend to show an interest in my complaint and keep the main company tagged all the way through.

That said, i would call the card manufacturer even if its been awhile, maybe this is an easily fixed thing or if you ask nice maybe they'll help ya. Its worth a try anyway. I hope you get it worked out. I know you've said that your laptop was a big part of why it took forever for videos to come out, so getting it fixed would hopefully lead to more content. Asus/Radeon usually gives a year warranty. If you bought it this year it's under warranty. You can't outright return it, but it is defective and warranty-applicable.

Hang in there, Harry. Trust me when I say your audience will be with you whenever you are able to return to posting videos. You haven’t been posting too many videos of excuses, either, because they aren’t really excuses. These have been legitimate problems you’ve had to deal with, and it sucks that you’ve had to go through such a run of bad luck. Wish I could help out with the PC issues, but unfortunately, I am less than useless when it comes to technology. It’s no problem if you have to record console footage for some videos, anyways. I think I can speak for a majority of your audience when I say we don’t care too much about the frame rate of a video, we come here because your content is just too good to not watch. Hell, the small clip you played of the unfortunate Wolfenstein video alone is absolute proof positive of that. One question, though: where did you get that footage of Super Mutant tech support? Well I cant advise on computers, but what I do suggest is that you get your right hand out stretch the index finger into a pointing gesture, and thrust back and forth your entire arm at the monitor or item of offence. Whilst doing this gesture recite the phrase you stupid, stupid infernal contraption (or words to that effect I sometimes use nefarious) After doing this at least five times you fully outstretch your arm at the offending machine and wriggle the index finger (and this is crucial now) in a clockwise rotation In which at this time freestyle your insults in any matter. Now repeat the whole process again and again until you deem it necessary to stop. This technique does nothing at all to fix the situation, but it at least make you feel better. I call this technique spite channeling because at least you made the inanimate object feel bad about itself.

*OUCH!* I'm saying it's Bad Memory on the video card. Plus, personally, I favor Nvidia products the most to be honest. But since I became disabled in 2010 I switched from PC to PS4 to save $$... You know me, I come for the content, and commentary :-) It's funny as always! A bit sad this time as I know how it feels to go through what you've been through. To test, if you have a spare 'cheap' older video card, throw it in and see if all the issues go away... or buy the cheapest Nvidia card that will run FO4 as a tester... (just to prove).

I would say that you should go with a 1050 ti if you can. I have one in my pc and while my fallout does crash, it hasn’t been because of my hardware(I think I have some mod compatibility issues). Best of luck to you!

I don't have much experience in AMD cards, but a 10 series card tends to be reliable, I have a 1080 that works. The 1080ti is also an option if you want better graphics and performance, but it costs more than the 1080 does.

Dam hope you get after you ever sold u that shitty GPU good luck mate Also is ur Motherboard compatible with with this GPU? I ask because since u can tone the card down it may pull to much wattage and trip a safe guard (Circuit breaker) then the Motherboard Cuts the GPU before it becomes fried.. If this is the case u need to go into your motherboard settings and well Remove the safe guard or if it lets u you could raise the allowed wattage in the card

I wish I had something useful to say but I can only speculate that if you need to turn down the power consumption of the card then it may be your power supply is not putting out enough juice to run the card at full settings. I'm not saying that I know what's wrong, but it's worth a look into I'd say.

HEY KOS! I dunno man. I thought it may have been a power issue at first, seeing as it crashed very similarly to how it crashed when I was dialing in my CPU overclock. But I have a 750W 80 Plus Platinum PSU and the card only has a single 8pin connector XD. It's weird because I can 100% my GPU when I use it to render a video, and it does it no problem at all? It seems to be specifically Gaming workloads that it doesn't like? I may have just lost the silicone lottery :') Anyway mate, how have you been?

The problem is, mining crisis, 8gb freesync cards are pretty expensive, like, youre talking an Extra £100 on top of what you paid for your 480, for a 580 8gb. and even a 570 8gb is like £40 on top of what you spent. Nvidia, most people are suggesting 1070ti route, but, since you have a freesync monitor, id honestly suggest going for a 580 or 570 8gb

Hey man, try getting a more powerful PSU and make sure you have the latest drivers. Also, you may have a dodgy motherboard which is not allowing enough power to come though the PCI Express slot. Content MSI support about your motherboard and try contacting the warranty on your GPU from ASUS.

I had a raedeon in computer once, would never buy AMD card again. The card worked but it ran hot, so many troubles with over heating then one day it just didn't turn on.

If you can get a 10 series GTX card, such as the 1050, 1060, etc., get that. I have a 1080, and and i7-4790k and it's decent for 4k. I recommend a 1070 as a minimum, if you want something really good. Can't go wrong with a 1080ti, it's a really good card for a while.

ASUS hardware can be a minefield unfortunately. If they still do them I'd recommend HIS or Sapphire for Radeon cards. Used them for the last 10 years and can run Fallout 4 on all ultra settings. Otherwise, the rig looks BEAST! Great choice with the Corsair psu too.

What are the specs of the PSU (power supply)? Is there a temperature problem with the GPU? Is the RAM compatible with the motherboard, and installed to the correct sockets? BIOS settings (auto overclock etc.) messing up the stability of the system? Could be literally anything..

I think it might just be a really poorly binned card :( My PSU is WAY overkill, RAM overclock is stable, CPU overlock is stable, BIOS is up to date, and the card never exceeds 65-70 degrees. It even crashed when I set every fan in the system to "jet engine" mode XD. Still, can't complain too much. At least I'm no longer editing on a 13" Laptop with a dual core Celeron :')

youre correct, but i feel like if you are able to at least get cs6 so there isnt a monthly fee that its worth it, aside from some getting used to the rendering options its a much more solid experience. and ive never had an issue with it messing up my video to audio edits.
