Kind of, but it's important to mention M$ requires a M$ account to use the OS. That ruins it even if it's actually good. Besides, 11 LTSC is supported only until 2034 so hardly that much longer than 10 LTSC versions (2029/2032).

Installed IoT LTSC on both my laptop and PC, it's nice. The only things I had to "fix" were installing the microsoft store and game bar, which you have to install from the Xbox app.

thanks for this. i was wondering how to play minecraft under my gpu pass thru linux host system as there was no microsoft store when i installed this version of windows, which is needed for playing minecraft. although a lot of my games don't work because of kernel-level anti-cheat, even under the vm, i still have a gpu accelerated vm which is real useful to me.

Awesome how it's old hardware compatible and missing co-pilot. This is the BEST and only version of Win11 anyone should install, I don't' care if you're not a business, IoT LTSC for everyone! For safety, reliability, and quality.

Thank you for making these videos. Windows have the best security tools compared to Linux like code signing and built in whitelisting for decades and even kiosk features. Memory access protections from early on. Much better kernel support for antimalware integration as well. In the old days, Linux was small target. Now its huge target, and Microsoft has many more years on everyone else of practice as being target #1. The Xbox, Azure, and Surface have taught Microsoft some super interesting things which have trickled down to benefit client OS. Microsoft is very much a hardware company like Apple and their OS benefits. As some say, "not everything in an OS should be a file". RIP Zune. Cheers to Maia and Cobalt🎉

Hmm I see that the TPM is optional but what about the CPU requirements for our older machines I cannot find any info on that.

Isn't TPM trusted platform module i've seen it specifically said in the bios of laptops

You are correct! Yes TPM stands for Trusted Platform Module. I had security on my mind and some security software companies make a product called Threat Protection Modules and I had that on the brain. Good catch!

What is the different between -> AMD64 edition and ARM64 edition?

AMD64 is just x64... it means Intel or AMD x64 processors while the ARM64 is for ARM processors such as Qualcomm or NXP.

It should work, maybe it doesn't work for you because you either use Evaluation version or your system doesn't support/have virtualisation enabled.

Will my current Windows 10 LTSC 2021 licence work for new Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC? Or do i have to buy it again? Also very very good news that CoPilot Ai is not included for now, that means that new upcomming feature called Recall will not work.

LTSC licenses are locked to the version that you buy. You will need to buy a new 11 LTSC license.

@@Corteum The IoT versions are only available to OEM's that manufacture appliances and require signing a legal agreement with Microsoft. See my video on getting started with Windows IoT. The non IoT version is a $300 upgrade via the Volume channel that anyone can buy but its expensive.
