Congratulations! This is one of the rarest KZbin channels where people say out loudly that the new 1300 GS, as an adventure bike is a good looking one! I was starting the have doubts of my own personal taste because I loved the looks of the bike since the day I saw it! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks, yes I don’t understand the general consensus on KZbin that this bike doesn’t look good. As far as adventure bikes go it one of the better looking ones out there, particularly the Option 719. Great bike to ride also. Thanks for watching.

its actually not bad at all in real life. Even the headlight isnt too bad after a couple days :)

@@tbonesixtyninetotally agree with that, actually I didn’t mind the headlight from the start

Thanks for being honest on liking the bike and not having some clickbaity “3 ReSoNs I HATE tHe BiKe 🤡” KZbin channels have become obnoxious like that. This was simple and to the point.

Cheers glad you enjoyed the video. There are a couple of things we didn’t like which we will cover in another video. But all up, quite enjoyed the R1300GS

Amazing bike. I’m still not convinced they have enough soul. Or any at all. But there’s no denying, the Swiss Army knife of a bike is better than ever.

I've painted my 719's silver 'GS' trim matte black. I think it looks a lot sharper now. However, I've discovered adaptive cruise control behind my buddy's FJR1300 is hit-n-miss. Very good behind a car, not-so-much behind another motorcycle. Still love the bike. Let's hope all of the electronic goodies prove to be reliable 😜
@BikerTorque5 ай бұрын
Interesting about the cruise control, I had no issue following my partners Royal Enfield Continental GT, which is a lot smaller than an FJR

The green colour with gold rims is a very good looking combination.

Certainly is, great combination

hi there , how do you compare it with 1250 RT for long distance touring
@BikerTorque4 ай бұрын
Honestly, it’s good, but for long distance touring I’d take an RT everyday of the week. Can’t wait to see the R1300RT

Looks like a great bike for a return trip to Tassie? Wow I do like the green 🤩 Question; is this bike much slimmer it looks like it on the vision or is that an optical allusion?
@BikerTorque5 ай бұрын
Definitely slimmer, we have covered that in a review video that we will have up in a week or two

Green motorcycle with gold rims? Looks like someone's been copying Kawasaki's homework. I can't blame them though. It is an iconic & good looking colour combination on almost any motorcycle.

I’d agree with that, great combo.

The power the engine seems to feel more like a sports bike ... try riding R1250R (23), then jump back on R1300GS they are identical, and I mean identical ... I love my R it has a set of bar risers on it. She was in for a service and was given the 1300gs to go and play with for an hour or so, engine performance, nothing in it ... guys try riding them back to back you will see .. lol
@BikerTorque5 ай бұрын
Can’t agree there, I’ve ridden, all of the R1250 variants, great bikes, and have to admit the R1250R is a bit of a hooligan bike and a highly under estimated bike…but the R1300 engine feels a bit more spritely to me.

I rode the 1300GS for the first time last week at a BMW Demo event for 30 mins. I have a R1250GS currently. I hated the 1300GS, as the biggest and most important thing is Rider comfort. My balls were being crushed, I could not wait to get off the bike within 20 mins. Complete crap!
@BikerTorque5 ай бұрын
Can’t agree that its complete crap, but also looking forward to riding the R1300RT when it’s released, that should make for an excellent tourer.
