I use peanut butter and corn meal mixed together, then fill drilled holes with a putty knife.

Thanks Darrell for the great tips, I noticed some of your images look like your at the grass level, any comments how they were taken would be appreciated, Tom

The are not. I am sat down so the camera is about a metre off the ground then when I zoom I the distance is compressed and it looks lower than it is.
