Number 6: deactivate Windows Update and tell it manually when to update... you don't how many times I have found Windows update crippling my bandwidth and performance.

I have been a PC player for over 10 years and I still use the gamepad for most games, on my sofa, playing on my TV just like a console player would do. Just because you prefer pc does not mean you have to use a keyboard and mouse. The only time I use K+M is strategy games and online multiplayer games like destiny or titanfall

You can go wrong with any of those. They are VERY similar in performance so I would honestly recommend getting which ever one looks the best for your build. Just make sure it’s one of the reputable brands like the ones you said.
