Good point about Aragorn and keeping heroes "on task" in general. Never match strength against strength: match strength against weakness.

Enjoyed the list, one thing to add for newbies like me, don't expect your beat sticks to be a one man army and run off and kill everything. They will get trapped, and die ... Speaking from experience of my first tournament haha

Very good point!!! This is 100% true!

What, you mean that they're not 40K primarchs?

Great Video, I am going to have to try out Aragorn using that Heroic Combat technique (just about have my ROTK Legendary Legion ready). I'm also working on a citadel guard and Knight Heavy Minas Tirith List (I know CG aren't great, I just like the models and wanted to do something different) and I was wondering if you think that Aragorn, Elessar is worth the price hike over Strider for a Minas Tirith Army?

Thank you! And it really does work with him! I love CG with Bodyguard and F4 you cant go wrong really you will just have a more elite army and paired with Boromir they are awesome! and he is worth the points in my opinion as Strider is 200 with his sword at D5 so for an extra 25pts you get a 6" banner and D7! :D let me know how your list does in the future! Thanks for commenting!

@@shadowwraith7560 will do, thanks a lot for the advice. I still need to get a bannermir, but have a standard boromir CotWT that will do for now.
@shadowwraith75604 жыл бұрын
that will work for now! There are some great conversions out there for his banner if you want to save money but the set gives you him on horse which makes him vary scary and increases his banner range (bigger base) :)

When you mentioned Aragorn 4 attacks on horse. Where does he get the 4th from? Sorry new player

First-time viewer and new MESBG player here, so I apologize if this has been covered already. But I got the Battle of Osgiliath set and primarily play Mordor. What are your thoughts on the balancing of that set straight-out-of-the-box? My conclusion is that Gothmog really, really needs another subordinate hero in with him so that he can field all of the Orcs that are in the box. That, and the fact that the Gondor side has Rangers of Ithilien pretty much built in so it can bypass the bow-limit somewhat, make me think it's not very balanced out-of-box, but what are your thoughts on the matter? Thanks, and have a good day. (Subscribed)

Thank you for the sub!!!! Welcome to MESBG! As for your question i rarely find scenarios balanced especially for evil forces most of the time :/ I think your right Gothmog needed one more captain level hero with him to really balance it out as Gondor has a lot of tools to play with and well tbh it feels like GW want good guys to win (Booooooo) hahaha the game itself when you add to your armies become a lot more balanced as your Orcs have a bit more punch than gondor warriors :) I think (My opinion) we need magic to deal with good heroes to make them drool so the witch king is a deffo add for me (And its on theme)
