Without giving too many specifics I can say that I’ve been working for Amazon for about 8 months. Started as a white badge with a basic vest, got my blue badge and an orange vest. Just recently became a Learning Ambassador and absolutely love it!! But the opportunity is already presenting itself to move up to a PA position and I’m extremely excited. Your video is accurate. This is how you do it. Take PRIDE in your work. Show people you give a shit. Amazon can just be a part time seasonal job if that’s what you want, sure. But I’m becoming living proof a little extra effort and you can make a career there and they absolutely will give you all the tools you need to do that. I love working for Amazon ❤️

PA = Process Assistant. PG = Process Guide. PGs get the same pay as regular blue badge workers. You do more work but don’t get any type of a raise for it. PAs at least at my facility get anywhere from $1-2 extra & they are still hourly like regular blue badge workers. PAs & PGs can technically be doing the same exact job as each other. PGs are the just a slight step up from regular blue badge associates then it goes PAs & then AMs. At least at my facility the PG role is meant to prepare you for the PA role & the PA role is meant to prepare you for the AM role. Once you get to the AM role you become salary & everything above AM is salary. Within the PA role there are different tiers are whatever to it so different PAs can be making more or less than other PAs. The AMs also have different levels like the L4 AM is the entry level AM & is usually reserved for fresh college students out of college & L1 or L3 associates who then moved up to an AM.

@@ienjoyeatinggood2572 you have to network and talk with your PA and AM. Ask when they have classes for things like PIT, Problem Solve, TDR.. (You also need 10hrs of put or more). Just because you’re a good worker doesn’t mean you’ll be a good leader or manager. Also, most of the time they aren’t going to offer it to you if YOU didn’t make it known what you wanted. If you’re hitting rate and just a good worker, some AMs will leave you there because you’re helping them look good. You have to make your plans known if you haven’t. Lastly, you can try applying on job finder internally for tier 2 and 3 roles. Yes, it is easier to get these positions when you know who’s in charge of it but you can apply for them!

I love working for Amazon and been with Amazon for a year and 4 months. I'm located at RDG1 in Pennsylvania. The thing I don't like is the tiers that are in place. I'm a A.F.M which is a Amesty Floor Monitor. I work on the AR floor (Amazon Robotics). A.F.M is a tier 1. Compare to the amount I do it's upsetting to know that Amazon doesn't have tier 2? Why! is what I want to know. Like problem solvers, Learning Ambassadors and A.F.M's should be a tier 2, not a tier 1. It's very unfair and annoying. Also, now Amazon is making it mandatory for all to wear safety shoes starting April 11th. Are they serious about this shyt, idk. But in my position that is useless. And they always expressing how important our safety is. But that's a bunch of crap. They are just trying not to get sued, bottom line. If our safety was top priority. Than working on Prime & Peak day we are all mentally and physically exhausted. For working 10 hour shifts, 6 days . And not once do they care if we end up falling asleep behind the wheel when we are all driving home. And this is one of the biggest safety hazards there is and they never address it. We already had a few accidents where the person fell asleep behind the wheel and got killed. It's bs, and Amazon needs the Union to get involved asap before we lose more lives. I can't just pick up and leave because like many others, I have a family I provide for. And it's always customers obsession. Like the employees are the ones who should be highly appreciated since we are the ones that are getting customers orders out to them on time. But it doesn't work like that at Amazon, money talks & our bs walks? . I'm sick and tired of being treated like a # and not a person. Because we are easily replaced. So even if you worked for Amazon 5 years and messed up just once. They don't care about how many years you put in with them, you are fired? Please let the Union get involved with Amazon, us employees need you because they are treating us like shyt?
