Pleasant Piazza was my drop spot last season in pubs, and it's still a top pick for me this season. The forecast tower next to it almost always spawns, and you have easy access to the bunker that spawns next to it and the one south of grim gate.

I do like the docks near Red LIne Rig, but I've recently been enjoying Classy Courts and Grim Gate. They just have a lot of chests and barrels to get an initial loadout, and I also like to duel Oscar or Cerberus. But watch out for Oscar's clinger grenades.

Same. I’ll admit that they got me the other day. Had killed four guys prior, and Oscar was down to about 20 health. Talking about it makes it feel better

In my experience, classy courts is almost always unconned or has max 2 other people rarely, even when it is a hot drop. It has plenty chests and floor loot, you can get the mythic shotgun if you want and there's a gas station nearby.

@@jivemelon I started noticing how shit my aim is when I boogie-bombed people, so I thought maybe I should pick up the Hammer Pump. I got lucky and picked a gold one off an elim, and it proved to be very useful later for the W. I think the pump makes me focus because I know I have to ADS and make it count.

Nitrodome is an underrated spot, but you have to know how to play it. You need to land directly in a car, boxes spawn around the main arena, and loot spawns in the area as time goes on/boss stages progress. You can get very good loot here, full squad can get nitrofists, and you can generally keep your car healthy because there are two heal boxes in the arena.

Every time the medallion/boss setup changes I change my POI drop to one that has no boss, but the loot itself is still there, sometimes chests still in vaults, etc. Even after a couple of zone changes, some of those POIs are still unlooted, so you can work your way around and still stock up a bit. Pleasant Piazza and Reckless Railways, Glacier hotel, Classy Courts. Lavish Lair still gets a bunch of attention, so some good, easy and early kills.

My favorite drop spot is a gas station on the left side of the map. It has a car spawn with 3 car upgrades. It has a mountain nearby with a chest spawn with up to 2 ammo boxes. From there your can launch pad to another mountain that has the forecast tower

my favorite drop spot has been going to the middle of the lake where the slurp barrel towers. i like to glide through a nitro ring and then running towards the barrels fro 100 shield instantly and looting 2 chests at the fishing dock. then i rotate to nitrodome and quickly go for the boss

Prior to the patch landing on a patrolling mythic car and pick axing the driver was a guaranteed win. Now the car has a passenger which means you have to land on the hood to pick axe the driver which makes it more risky. Plus the health change to mythic cars makes then much easier to destroy.

Since they brought back boogie bombs, I’ve been switching up my landing spots to keep it fresh. Even if the opponent has a boss vehicle. I just boogie> let car roll away for a sec> clean up shop lol. 🕺 💣

The loot pool is the main issue im seeing. Last season youd come across atleast one common type ( non mythic ) one common type of golden gun per match pretty much. Or atleast every other match at most. This season that doesnt happen. Iv only seen one golden dmr so far an one golden smg. An im level 50 on the pass just from playing br only so ya i play alot of br. I would know. . . . They need to fix the loot pool. They shadow nerfed common golden gun drops to force us to rely on the mythics an thats bullshit. Why even have golden dmrs an smgs if were only gonna see them onece or twice a week? Thats trash. Who gives a shit about the mythics when the trst of loot pool for golden guns is shadow nerfed by epic anyway? Stupid.

I finally got back on. It's actually pretty fun now. It's just a shame they went way too far this season and the numbers r really hurting. I love Fortnite and stuff like this can easily kill a game.
