Gate Keeper is wayyy better. Sovereign is good but 1v1 against each other, the Gate Keeper wins 90% of the time. The range and pure damage is just a difference maker.

I prefer Gate Keeper in most situations, especially if it has a drum mag on it. However, if you are chasing someone in the special water that gives you dashes, and they keep dashing away while refusing to get close enough, then the Sovereign works better, since it has a longer range than the Gate Keeper. Also, you can reload 1 pellet at a time, which is way faster than reloading a Gate Keeper. So, in this situation, if a Gate Keeper doesn't have a drum mag, then the Sovereign can actually work better compared to the 3 shot Gate Keeper that takes longer to reload. Outside of this specific scenario though, the Gate Keeper is better, especially if you are close range, (like in a bunker). Then, the Gate Keeper does much more damage and is much more effective than the Sovereign.

yeah, I feel TTK on Sovereign is way too long (even with gold). I feel like the hip fire damage is way too erratic and im hitting for 50 way too often even at point blank with reticle on them. With a blue or better gate keeper I can for sure 3 shot someone with hip fire and have less chance of being on 50 hp after the fight (or dead). The slightly better range doesnt make up for the damage and rate of fire, for me, on the Gatekeeper

the gatekeeper is way better, but i gotta say i still dont like picking up a gatekeeper that doesnt have at least the speed mag. you rarely find a gatekeeper with a drum mag anyway, but at least finding one with the speed mag is already a gamechanger cuz you can often get a reload of even during a fight, while when you dont have a speed mag you always have to get away with eather shockwaves or shuri claws to get the reload of. and then obviously if get to a mod bench i put the drum mag on, but if i dont have a chance to get to a mod bench and not have a speed mag gatekeeper then i often keep the sovereign

So my devils advocate outlook on the mobility - you don't like the chainsaw primarily because you're easier to shoot when using it. With the broom though its a 1 time use, you're in the air and unable to defend yourself for a period of time, and you dont get the added bonus of it doubling as a weapon. I've been running claws/saw combo in my loadouts. I like to drop Grim and grab the saw and hope for claws, but will sub out with shocks until I find them. The claws do drain the stam, which is concerning, but, also double as a weapon like the saw (if needed).

I use shuri and chainsaw... I'll pop shuri claws and if they are still chasing me I'll use the chainsaw. No way they can catch you by then

Only thing with the claws is that you need to be mindful of stamina. I was in end game and jumped off a ledge when I thought I still had stamina for the claw boost. I was out of stamina, so the claw boost didn't activate and I took 50 fall damage. I was out of white heals, and there were no white heals nearby. I still won, but it almost cost me the game. Just something to mindful of with the claws, to make sure you have stamina before you jump off a high ledge planning to boost forward with them.

@69_Dixon_Cider I'm used to watching my stamina. I been using the claws since they came out so it's not a problem for me. It's very useful endgame if you manage your stamina correctly and pop the special ability then use the broom or chainsaw to get away.

Every time I use the burst I have a coin flip of if I can hit some shots or none at all. I go game to game with completely different results with it. I love it when I can hit shots with it.

I feel its more control, when I can get into the bumker i add the drum, the grip to reduce recoil and the thermal and its like a sniper almost.

Burst with a scope is so rewarding for players with good aim, sovereign is solid for the close mid range fighting that burst sucks at

@@EXQUIS1T3 Shield Bubbles can be great, but just know that an EMP will destroy a Bubble Shield, so be mindful of that. Also, I recommend using an Auto Turret yourself (especially, when in the water that gives you dashes). It is such an effective item, and since it is so effective, that is why you encounter players in end game all having an Auto Turret. As the saying goes, if you can't beat em, join em.

I dont like the witched broom because you cant shoot anyone when you're in the air. Even after you land, it takes a second before it alllows you to shoot.

Bunkers and a mobility item. Bunkers turn virtually every fight in my favor. Shockwaves are usually my preference but I'll play around with the others. Chainsaw is fun and it does crazy damage. Pushing someone with the chainsaw is quite effective after getting first strike, especially in endgame when there's not that much cover.

My favorite loadout is the exact same. Its what i find the most fun using. I dont care about something may be more powerful. I play to play a FPS game. Not to fly around in the air like an effing Hummingbird firing plasma balls. So the vaulted jet pack made me want to play ZB BR again.

The iron mans have been slept on all season. You can cancel the flight and fall animation at any point by swapping weapons. Theyre one of the most ridiculous items if you just wanna scout the map and get into a fight no matter what

I carry the striker close q, gatekeeper,chainsaw or shocks(depending what I find), splash or big pots. Last spot depends on what I can find. Usually shield bubbles although finding them in pubs is annoying. I don’t find the game balanced rn. If you get third partied now with a chainsaw or claws or war machine it’s GGs.

Look up aim practice map codes on KZbin, all kinds of creative modes that will help with shotgun, spray, and ar aim. Zero build and build modes

Haven't seen a single witches broom. Have to fight now for the NPC because there is a quest related to it. Some decisions by Epic continue to baffle me :D Edit: Also on my level people are absolutely terrified by the chainsaw. I'm trying to do that quest, too, but people just run everytime I attack them with the chainsaw and I shoot them in the back.

The gatekeeper has been so much better for me. Drum mag, ads grip and muzzle break. It melts players attacking me with the claws. The sovereign is so hit or miss for me.

I think sov is better UNLESS you can get a modded Gatekeeper like you say. Stock though I'd prefer sov. So it really depends on if you can get to a bunker or not imo.

The jet pack was scalable in ability. Not everyone could utilize the jet pack to its fullest form. It made sniping a lot harder. Now… totally different game like you said. I miss the jet pack. I miss the nitro medallion more. Bring back that thing. I still say they need to do a season of real life 2024 warfare. WW3. Everyone would play it.
