I want to thank you for your videos. I contacted you at the early stage of my diagnosis and can remember crying at the time of typing. Im not one for the detail and needed reassurance that everything was going to be fine and you helped. After 6 months having gone through surgery chemo and radiotherapy today I was given an all clear from what was a stage 4 HPV source unknown, following a follow up PET scan. Im 56 and was really healthy at the start. my wife stopped work and without support and her help I question how I could have got through it. I am now 2 stone lighter but able to taste and apart from dry mouth and feeling tired I am getting better every week. I am a happy man and I am sure a better person for what I have been through. Thanks again and anyone reading this needs to know - what ever type of cancer you have got - you must believe you are going to get through it. Im off for a few beers to celebrate

Wow, that is great news James! You have really been through it and I am really glad to hear the "ALL CLEAR", and I am really glad to hear that I could help. I agree, my wife was a real rock star during all this and I couldn't have done it without her. Enjoy that cold one at the pub! (raise one for me!) Lee

Hi. Urge you to try amygdalin which is extracted from the apricot seed, and also apricot seeds. There has been much use of these for decades, though main stream medicine is ignorant of it. Faith in God and Jesus is number the first thing to have. Dave

I would definitely go see a doctor. It might be nothing, but with a past history, you shouldn’t take any chances. Lee

Hpv16 caused mine. Which a good thing actually. Means its responsive to treatment

I had the same thing. At first I was confused about the HPV 16 treatment being more responsive. I pretty much thought cancer was cancer, HOWEVER, I was wrong, happily. Lee

I wonder if HPV came on from shedding after the vax came out.

Hi AnnMarie, I don't really think so. According to the National Cancer Institute, it can take anywhere from 10-20 years for HPV infected cells to develop into a cancerous tumor. Lee

Hi Marion, Smoking and drinking are only one of the many issues that can lead leave the body open to a cancer "invasion". My mother in law lived until she was in her early 90's and was a smoker as well. Good luck to you and here is to a long, healthy life! Lee

Hey Dennis, GREAT question! In the very limited research (emphasize limited) I did, I found the answer was yes and no. Great idea for a video...... Hmmmmm..... Honestly, I don't know the answer to that. Lee

Thanks for responding! It will be a great topic, one that as you said, is limited in information, since just recently we are more open to talk about it, since is more normal the use of it and even legal in some states. Hoping that your last follow up visit went well sir!!!

Hey John, I'm not really sure... However, my treatments ended on 08 SEP 2021 and I did have some turkey with my wife and daughter on Thanksgiving 2021. I had to chew, A LOT, and wash it down with water. Lee

My doctor just ordered a CT scan of my throat, I’m still hoarse

Hopefully the CT will give them some idea of what is going on. I guess the ENT couldn't see anything through the scope?

Hi, I’m still hoarse, going on 7-weeks, and I’m wondering “if” I got a false positive on Mono? Well, my PCP happens to be a nurse practitioner and not a doctor and I don’t see her till May. She thinks everything I’m complaining of is totally the fault of Mono. But , even a person with Mono should not be hoarse 24 hrs a day for 7 weeks, almost 2- months straight. Depending on CT results of throat, and only then will she send me to ENT. I did get out of Jury duty though!

@@theregularguy141 Hi, I called today to the VA hospital in Hampton, VA., and my appointment is at for May 17, 2023. This is the soonest they could get me in, and I was surprised 😮, lol, however, after I thought about it, it might be for the best, because it will give it another month to grow (meaning it will show up on the CT scan), whereas right now, I think it’s still so early that it might not show up. Now that I think about it, weeks before I was diagnosed with supposedly having MONO, I was outside talking to my neighbor and I had to cut the conversation short because my throat started to be painful 😖 and the more I talked the hoarser I was getting. I thought nothing of it at the time. Either one of two things is going on here: 1) I have MONO & something more sinister going on 2) The sinister part gave a fake-positive to toe monospot test. I only say this because even if I really have/had MONO there is just no way I would still be hoarse, and it’s getting worse. I can see the fatigue linkering on for months, but not more than 6-weeks for the hoarseness. My throat hurts off and on, difficulty in swallowing at times but the hoarseness is a 24/7 constant. I have never been hoarse in my entire life 61 years, more than 2-weeks.

Hopefully the CT will begin to clear up the issue. Do you know if they are doing a PET/CT or regular CT? Lee
