I have the scudo switch bass and switch lid. I went with a clear plat on the bottom for ID window and carbon fiber on the lid 4oz empty. I've always been about wallet security this take it to new level with cash and cards in a sturdy aluminum box. Would love to see Carrie test and maybe 2nd look video. Great channel keep it up.

@@walletopia thanks for the reply. I've been running my last bifold for some 10yrs. The scuda has been a nice change of pace. If definitely not a minimalist wallet but it is more compact.

@@walletopia when you do a carry test with the scudo wallet try folding your cash into thirds one piece at a time and put it in the stack of cards between your most used cards and cards that are must carry but not often used. This will still help with card slop noise but will keep the cash from being loos when first open. Also allows you to thumb through the bills instead of having to pull out the hole wad of cash to find the bill's you need and when you first open the wallet this still allows your most used card best access. This has been working well for me and I use cash every day for small purchases like soft drinks.

The Das Offene Meer wallets are much better in weight of leather but you can’t bet what you’re getting with this wallet for the price, and it is full grain veg tanned leather.

I go back and forth on all of these, whether they seem cool or gimmicky... I like the vegan option of the Moral Origin, but think it's pretty ugly. I like the "vault" aesthetic of the Scudo, but it's kind of ridiculous in requiring cash to reduce noise, but having cash inside will mess up the flipping through.... and it's stupid expensive and not at all water-sealed, so what;'s the point of the "vault"? The VICE F1 is all about elastic, which makes it look cheap. The Lo Esencial is a bit square and purse-like; the Form Function Form Trislot I think is cool, though I'm not as into the "unfinished side" of the leather as you are. Anyway, I "like" all of them and have a problem with all of them. For a suggestion for unique -- look at American Bench Craft, Caliber Money Clip Wallet. It reminds in a way of the trislot, only... very different, lol. Instead of three separate slots, it only has one, but is also connected to a money clip. Rivets, no thread. (I'd like to see you review some of the other American Bench Craft options as well, but that's the one that stands out as the "unique" entry).

Great assessment of the wallets, I don't disagree at all. I like the look of the Bench Craft Caliber Money Clip, very cool. We'll pick that up and look at the others.

@@walletopia Wow... thanks, Mark! Some of their others remind me of a more urban-looking version of some of the Mr. Lentz. Biker/trucker, chains, rivets.... all of which has nothing to do with my lifestyle but I find strangely attractive. (And I DO like tethering my wallets to myself!)

@@DireitoIntegral The reason it did so well on Kickstarter and Idiegogo is that it does tick all the boxes for what most people want in an all-rounder type wallet. I hope they can expand their digital footprint and be able to keep shipping this wallet and hopefully it performs the way they expect.

Just found out Scudo no longer ships outside of the US. I had finally found the perfect wallet.

One final option is to use a forwarder. I use them often for wallets that don't ship out of the EU or even a single country in the EU, countries like Japan, etc. It's a little more money, but it works!

@@walletopia Big thank you to Walletopedia! Situation update. I managed to get a Scudo wallet. Ordered it, was sent to a relative in the U.S. and then sent to me in Mexico. Arrived today. It's better than expected. Does not feel bulky, build is as solid as can be and custom 12 dollar logo gives it a special feeling of "there may be many like it, but this one is mine". I truly cannot stress how good this wallet it. Thanks again, Walletopedia!
