nice list, did you play At the gates of Loyang? it plays amazing in solo as well (Uwe did a great job making games playable in solo), for me Loyang is up there, not sure if it will be in my top 5 but i think its hard, because depending on my mood i like kinda a lot of Uwe games (im a big fan of them)

I got my hands on a copy after making this video. If I were to include it in this list, Feast For Odin would get bumped to honorable mention and ATGoL would get spot #5. I agree that Uwe does good on solo, if you’re a fan of beat-your-own-score.

@@beaglesgamesguitars2271 oh you liked it as well … :) I did not play feast for Odin, I don’t own it yet. For me Loyang will be in my top but more because it just plays so nice, Fields of arle and Le Havre also in my top but sometimes I just like a fast setup game and be done in 30-40min (solo). But big box games have more depth.. so hard to have a small top 5 for sure but 100% agree on your top list and understand why.

@@Retro_Care Atiwa and Hallertau are both middle ground games. Easy setup, and they’re not sprawling and huge like Feast and Fields, but you end a game feeling like you played something more than a light game. Hallertau especially, with its multiple decks
