@@Waywind420 I think there is some accuracy to that for sure, but I also think body proportions play a big factor too. I don’t really have this problem as I’m fairly slim myself but not a twig lol. Personally I’d much rather “look” shorter than what I am and be “thick” or in good shape, as opposed to looking “taller” but being scrawny. Once people see me up close, they’d be able to tell that I’m taller than what I may appear. I’ve seen guys who were actually 5’10-5’11 in height but appeared to be shorter cuz of their disproportionate body type (shorter legs/longer torso, or some were just fatter which ofc made them look smaller). Also is it just me, or do girls that are around that height of 5’8-5’10 look taller than guys who are that same height? I think it’s cuz women tend to be slimmer with naturally longer legs than men. Almost every girl around my height has longer legs than I do.

@@thealisterr Girls definitely have long legs in proportion to their height. For me, i'm 5'8 and built like Tom hardy's Bane, so I look shorter than I am. I'm about 205lbs. I don't workout but i'm about as strong as an NFL player. It's weird having big man strength on a compact, modest frame. Personally I'd like to drop down to 180lbs and be more mobile without losing too much strength, but it's also nice being a complete unit and feeling like the hulk.

I don’t think I’m still growing. Boys usually stop growing at 18. But one thing I can say is that I was always average for my age. I was never tall but never short close to my friends the same age as me or my classmates. So I think I grew in the average range. But your final height depends of a lot of different factors. Mostly on your own genetics, depending on your parents height. Like in my case my father was 5’10 and my mother is 5’3 so pretty realistic my height being 5’9. and also good nutrition, good nights of sleep, (since it’s when you sleep that you grow and your brain regulates your hormones), and also sports can help a little bit.
