The point on research speed from Eco tree and VIP is really good, I have seen people pushing with having Scholarship 2 at low level, but that VIP 15.. It takes a while bro haha Also that look at 8:45 was pure gold

This really depends on your spend level for example mid to high spenders should by tickets and not gems on that. I believe the heros you are going for is Goresh and Skogul if you are going to invest them sure but if not, not worth.

Since Im a low spender I would suggest all otehr low spenders to build tanky. If archers and you get heart of kamasi....keep it and go tank....use cavs then go cav unit DEF & legion DEF artifacts for PvP. Build your army to survive. Do this and you will not only allow your heavy hitters to punish the enemies that focus you, but it will also make it harder for the enemy to burst you down. Its a win win to build tanky if low spender, way more payout for your alliance than if you want to be top DPS.

This is for sure a good idea but at the same time as a low spender you dont really have the troops to tank much but i do agree on the archers build you suggested.

ive focused on marksmen, then i saw cavs were fun, then back to marksmen cause couldnt use cavs, then mages case marksmens were not that good in big battles, then back to marksmen cause the new range talent in st1, i have 1/3d awakened and half awakened heroes lol

Correct me if im wrong here, and I would probably just end up being confused after...but....Kinarra is near range for abilities, bakshi is medium which is essentially near. But bakshi is cavs and kinarra is marksman. Both physical. My question is, with all the similarities, and same damage type....cant bakshi and kinarra be paired and their damage still register in the battle reports? Because it shows in mine. I've ran this duo already in game, checked battle reports.....and there is a slight increase in normal attack damage dealt because of kinarra's 2nd ability....it also shows rattlesnake or whatever her 1st ability is called and shows that feeble was applied to enemy. I could be wrong about all of this. But I would really like to know, since it shows in the battle report......I can use a marksman with a cavalry unit cant I? So long as its the same damage type? Some one please let me know.

you can run heroes like this as long as the damage type is the same (physical/magic). The only problem is that some skills only boost a specific troop type so you miss out on some commander skills. Other than that though you can run things together!

So the best way to pair those is using Marksman into Cavalry marches but not the other way around because Cavs cant use their skills from medium range. The rattle spear does apply as it does not have any range limitations.
