Remember dueling against someone about 6 years ago: Activates Mirror Force while I had 4 attack position monsters (Player had 2 other backrow and no monsters.) I Activate Solemn Judgement, opponent responds with another Solemn, I chain another Solemn, player chains another Solemn, I chain my other Solemn (I drew my 3 Solemns on my first turn.) Opponent immediately ragequits.

Well, to be fair, sacrificing these monsters to summon the winged dragon of ra would have been a actually fairly good idea in the anime, on which he gained Attack equal to the combined Attack of all monsters Tributed to Summon it. ... Effect which he lacks in the actual card game. Am I the only one who thinks this little nerf makes Ra pretty useless?

If he had this ability he would be very powerfull indeed, paying(and having) 1000LP for destroy any monster is a worth ability... I guess. Dark armed Dragon still would be better than Ra at this role, but he is kind of broken Ra would be balanced like this. I've seen a card called Ra-Sphere Mode It basically allow you to summon Ra with 4000 Atk without paying LP, and you can use your opponent monster as tribute for Ra-SM although it has the risk of him being sacrificed before it return to you.

I once went against a player who was clearly cheating. Summoning monsters in face-up Defense or face-down Attack, and giving all of her monsters effects that they clearly dont have (like trying to give a Vanilla monster a "hidden" effect. Right. And she would use these "hidden" effects to swarm the field with all these monsters. I remember thinking, yeah I should win by default, because there's no way she could summon out all these monsters in one turn (no active "legal" effect to summon them. no Ultimate Offering, nothing). But I let it slide because it was a casual duel, ok, I'm just like whatever. My friend was watching to my right, and he kept arguing with my opponent. But meh. I was holding my own even despite all of the swarming, because unlike her, I had some "legal" abilities of my own, such as having Marshmallon and Spirit Reaper, and also cards like Scrap-iron Scarecrow and Negate Attack to prevent her from attacking. In other words, I had put up stall tactics. Before I knew it, when my next turn came, I had three monsters on the field that were legally summoned, and I tributed them all for the last card in my hand, Beast King Barbaros. And yes, I declared the effect that would destroy all of her monsters, and of course in typical cheating fashion, she tried to negate it, even though she had NO card (no face-downs) no monsters, spells, or traps that could negate. And of course, once my friend and I (and a few others that had joined in to watch) convinced her she could not negate the effect and she had to send all her monsters to the graveyard (leaving her open to a direct attack), she rage quit then and there (claiming she needed to be elsewhere). That was quite possibly the worst duel I had ever been in

this wasn't a duel I was a part of, but it was an Evilswarm mirror match. one side was in an obvious advantage with Safe Zone and Key Beetle while his opponent had a relatively empty field. (not positive about the rest of the backrow.) had he kept pushing without summoning anything, he would have won. instead he sets an Evilswarm Azzaroth. the opponent next turn decides to normal summon a monster and (I believe) attack the face-down Azzaroth, but since his opponent has no Special Summoned Monsters his only option is to shuffle his own key beetle into the extra deck. suffice to say, it cost him the duel.

A friend of mine was dueling and had a set Mirror Force. My friend had double Zenmaine and the opponent had 3 E-Dragons. First mistake: Not going for Big Eye or Dracossack. The funniest part was when my friend used Mirror Force and the opponent chaaained... MIRROR FORCE! Yes, apparently the opponent thought that Mirror Force can bounce the "attack" of Mirror Force back at the foe.It ended in an Admin Call when the Admin said "Are you kidding me?" xD I DIED LOL

During a duel my opponent had the following on his field: 1x Colossal Fighter 1x Goyo Guardian 1x Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind 1x Blackwing - Armor Master 1x Blackwing - Bora the Spear 2x Black Whirlwind At the moment i just had nothing but a Marshmallon and a Scrap-Iron Scarecrow to work with while i was forced to wait for the nessecary draw. My opponent just failed a few turns in a row to give me piercing damage and got so salty that he decided to synchro Bora and Gale for Blackrose and activated it's effect and left his field completly empty for that turn. After that i got the right draw and won the duel suprisingly fast while my opponent just didn't get anything for a proper recovery from his blackwing deck. (Sorry for my bad english.)

because, you see: The card Upstart Goblin states that the player (the one who is activating it) can draw 1 card, at the cost of giving their opponent 1000LP. Now Dark Bribe is a card that negates a spell/trap card at the cost of allowing your opponent to draw 1 card. So you see, if I play Upstart Goblin, and you chain Dark Bribe to it, you are negating my ability to draw a card... by allowing me to draw a card. I basically got what I wanted without having to give you the 1000LP.

I got the point, I just did not understand why he would like to bribe the upstart at all? It's more than a bizarre choice

Seen someone set lightning vortex, when opponent had high level monsters on the field, but none that could protect them if he used the card. He just lets his monsters gets destroyed. When he had a Red Eyes Darkness Metal and 3 monsters on the field, and had a white horned dragon in his hand. He does nothing, and loses and said he knew what he was doing.

I used Mount Sylvania's effect on his end phase and I excavate Marshaleaf, to destroy stardust. He chains with Stardust, which I get back immediately after he negated Marsh's effect. Man, yesterday I was testing out a Yang Zing/Shaddoll Deck. I had a bad start after my opponent destroyed Winda and kept Summoning out a ton of Masked HEROs and even got out Number 107 at one point in time. Meanwhile I'm panicking because I keep misplaying my Yang Zing monsters' effects and I'm not drawing any cards to protect myself with. Then somehow I get lucky and Synchro for Beelze with Bixi as one of the materials. My opponent proceeds to try to Skill Drain, Mirror Force, Dimensional Prison and Compulsory Beelze and once I realize that Bixi gave Beelze immunity to Trap Cards I start laughing uncontrollably.

I was playing a friend who uses Battlin' Boxers, and he had two Lead Yokes on the field. One lost its overlay units to my Galaxy-eyes Regular, and the other had its two ready. I used mirror force when he attacked, and he detached which ended up trying to save the one without overlay units, which caused the one that did to die, and the one he tried to save died anyways, so he lost both of his Lead Yokes.

Just 2 days back I was dueling someone who was using a Ra's Disciple deck and he brought all three out and after I destroyed one he was attempting to Xyz summon monsters even though the card text states that no special summons can be conducted except with the effect of Ra's Disciple AKA to summon the Gods or more copys of Ra's Disciple (When this card is Summoned: You can Special Summon up to 2 "Ra's Disciple" from your hand and/or Deck. Cannot be Tributed, except for the Tribute Summon of (God Cards). You cannot Special Summon monsters, except by the effect of "Ra's Disciple".) As you know XYZ summons are special summons.

I fought someone who summoned blue eyes (with no tribute or anything), then tributed that to summon Scrap Dragon then randomly summoned a trap card and on my turn i dark holed and he said "No, Scrap cant be destroyed by effects"

I kept forgetting that I can only activate one black stone of legend effect per turn, so I got it back from my graveyard and then normal summoned it. Then in the same game I tried to attack for game and my friend, who was still getting used to devpro, used a mirror force. Then he activated 7 tools of the bandit

Bubblebeat vs Pure Hieratics, Advanced Rated. I had Absolute Zero out, and my opponent uses his entire hand of Hieratics to bring out three Gaia Chargers. He attacks only to lose his entire field to Zero's effect, and I Miracle Fusion the following turn for game. This was ages ago.

This is where you chain a second MST that you just set that turn to the Dark Bribe to negate it, so that the first MST will successfully resolve, destroying the already dead Bribe.

The last one with drachosack actually was just probably him misreading the card. My assumption is that he wanted to summon tokens without realizing that it has to be two tokens and not one, since that was the case, devpro did not give him the option to choose which effect he wanted to activate so it automatically activated the destruction effect forcing him to tribute drachosack and kill one of his own guys off. Feel free to correct me, I may be wrong. :P

One bad play that i am guilty of back then: I was playing a Jinzo Horus Lockdown deck, had both Horus and Royal Decree out, my Opponent activates Warrior Returning Alive, *and i forget to negate it with Horus!* He brings back Exiled Force, summons and tributes them, Horus dead, i ragequit.

Thats actually a good play, once he's summoned you can destroy call of the haunted and Jinzo's effect negates the effect that says when this card is destroyed destroy the monster by this effect.

I actually run a play where I play the trap Greed, then draw lots of cards in one turn using cards like Reload and Magical Mallet, then chain Barrel Behind the Door at end phase to deal minimum of 9000 damage. Most opponents never see it comming first time.

One time I was playing my friend with my Six Sam deck, and I managed to summon two Six Sams my first turn because of Kageki's effect and I forgot to special summon Great Shogun Shien. Another time I was dueling my friend, he summoned a Stardust and I forgot I had a face down Adhesion Trap Hole which would have halved its attack and I lost because I couldn't get rid of it

TBH, I forget that Shi En has his second effect to save himself. For me, when the main effect (the reason everyone uses it) is really good, I forget it even has a secondary effect because "why would it even need a second effect?" The first effect being so good, the secondary effect just ends up forgotten. Especially, if I can never get around to destroying Shi En because I've already been locked down with Barkion and/or Beast.

I once played someone who on their first turn first brings out malefic stardust without any field spell in play, and then continues their turn by using creature swap on it and claims that it is chained to the stardust's summon and that it stays until their turn ends before being destroyed.

A year or two ago, when I got back into Yu-Gi-Oh after not playing it for a long time, I went to Dueling Network, and added some Xyz Monsters to my Extra deck. I knew how to summon them by watching others, but I didn't know they had Ranks, not Levels. I got yelled at for trying to use them for Synchro Summons.

Brought out archlord kristya in my turn, RETURNED HONEST WITH ITS EFFECT. He breakthrough skills it in his turn, special summons a blue eyes and attacks. Seems suprised that I discard my honest to save my monster.

I've had so many people on DN try to argue with me over illegally activating Solemn Warning on me, and so many people have summoned monsters and attacked without enough ATK to actually defeat the monster I had out (I think the most common was Number 17: Leviathan Dragon when it first came out). I sometimes wonder if they buy a tin or structure deck and just throw the rulebook out with the actual disposable packaging. The best one was this one guy I dueled who thought Synchros only needed 'one tuner monster + one or more non-tuner monsters,' using like two level ones to bring out a Stardust Dragon. I think he took the card language too literally and failed to read the manual, as per usual. Worst play by far I've ever encountered was this guy who decides that Skelengel gets its effect after being destroyed facedown by my Torrential Tribute. He then proceeds to argue with me, FOR TWO HOURS, over why he thinks it was a legal play. When the admin comes in and tells him he's wrong, he also then proceeds to ARGUE WITH THE ADMIN about it, then INSULTS the admin for being a supposedly bad admin. He was obviously booted out.

You do understand when he normal summons Barbaraos it has 1900 attack. THE OPPONENT NULLIFYING THE EFFECT WITH VEILER is what caused it to go to 3000 and cause him to lose? He could have drawn into a Monster Reborn or something and made some sort of a comeback

I remember once there was this duel where royal decree was out and my opponent had 3 monsters ready to attack. He attacked once at my absorbing jar so all our face downs were destroyed. I drew battle fader which was what i needed to last 1 more turn, then what does he do? he sets his 3 new face downs he just drew by jar eff instead of attacking by then it is too late. so next turn i draw needle worm and set so he attacks reduces his deck to 0 and i use battle fader to survive until i win next turn. Amazing, sets 3 cards and that is what lost him the duel. Had he attacked and i used fader then he would have won but sadly for him it was not so.

I had some one mirror force my card trooper, they were at 8000 too. I 've also had a surprisingly high number of people use effect veiler on justice of prophecy.
