Agree with Adam about Butker 100%. Incredible kicker.

If super bowls are the most important thing, Butker obviously earned his spot. The dynasty kicker

Put respect on Dusty’s name. I own his jersey and have since 2010 because HE WAS THE BEST PLAYER ON THOSE TEAMS

Man our playoff record could be very different without him. He has been right up there with Pat Kelce & Chris

I was at that no punt playoff game as a kid. It was so much fun!!! But then, obviously, it ended in heartache... I REALLY thought that was our year... If only dick vermeil believed in defense 🤷

I put together a list similar to this last offseason, except I created an all-time 53-man roster. I don't think any of the names have changed in the season since, because no 2023 Chief not already on the list would have surpassed anybody currently on the list. QB Len Dawson (1962-75) QB Patrick Mahomes (2017-) QB Bill Kenney (1980-88) RB Tony Richardson (1995-2005) RB Ed Podolak (1969-77) RB Jamaal Charles (2008-16) WR Otis Taylor (1965-75) WR Henry Marshall (1976-87) WR Carlos Carson (1980-89) WR Stephone Paige (1983-91) WR Dwayne Bowe (2007-14) TE Travis Kelce (2013-) TE Tony Gonzalez (1997-2008) TE Chris Burford (1960-67) T Jim Tyrer (1961-73) T John Alt (1984-96) RT Dave Hill (1963-74) G Ed Budde (1963-76) RG Will Shields (1993-2006) G Brian Waters (2000-10) G Tom Condon (1974-84) G Dave Szott (1990-2000) C Jack Rudnay (1970-82) IOL Tim Grunhard (1990-2000) IOL Casey Wiegmann (2001-11) DT Buck Buchanan (1963-75) DL Chris Jones (2016-) DL Dan Saleaumua (1989-96) DL Bill Maas (1984-92) DL Jerry Mays (1961-70) DE Neil Smith (1988-96) DE Art Still (1978-87) DE Mike Bell (1979-91) DE Eric Hicks (1998-2006) OLB Bobby Bell (1963-74) OLB Tamba Hali (2006-17) LB Derrick Thomas (1989-99) LB Derrick Johnson (2005-17) LB Willie Lanier (1967-77) LB Jim Lynch (1967-77) LB E.J. Holub (1961-70) LB Sherrill Headrick (1960-67) CB Emmitt Thomas (1966-78) CB Albert Lewis (1983-93) CB Kevin Ross (1984-97) CB Dale Carter (1992-98) S Johnny Robinson (1960-71) S Deron Cherry (1981-91) S Lloyd Burruss (1981-91) S Jim Kearney (1967-75) K Nick Lowery (1980-93) P Jerrel Wilson (1963-77) LS James Winchester (2015-) I unfortunately did leave some names off, most notably guys whose value was harder to measure like Kimble Anders and Dante Hall and sometime specialist tandem Harrison Butker and Dustin Colquitt. Great players like Terrell Suggs and Marcus Allen played for the Chiefs at some point, but are left off because their contributions to the team aren't as great as their bodies of work at large. Also, postseason legacy is not weighed as heavily as overall longevity and value, otherwise there might be a few more players from the modern era on the list (such as Butker and Colquitt).

Punters pin the offense back and create those special defensive moments we all remember. And Conner, you ever imbibe at Case de Angry yer' gonna' be regaled with Colquitt stories. How he could kill that ball inside the 10 and the 5 the way racquetball players can hit the wall and roll that thing to you. You know a guy who's never met Colquitt when you hear a hater. God tier troll, shit stirrer, and best friend your defense ever had.
