The Shoegaze genre is not included in either primary or secondary genres due to its placement being redundant, but keep in mind that all of these songs were marked as Shoegaze and other related genres by RYM users. This isn't the case if there are no other primary genres.
According to RYM, Shoegaze is a subgenre of Alternative Rock that contains "Ethereal, noisy washes of sound created by extensive usage of multiple effect pedals, such as distortion, reverb, and delay; dreamy, usually unintelligible vocals, and roaring volumes".
